Good evening /djt/.
looks like Q attacked me again, and didn't even respond to my post checking his claims that I was whitenoising. I repeat again I do not whitenoise anymore, which is why i always pause in cutscenes.
Q didn't respond to this claim, and proceeded to call me a tranny, which I am not.
meh. i don't think there's any convincing him. he's too rooted in hate and wants to cancel me. i don't think there's anything I can do about it.

what's the nuke thing, "mine everything"? yeah i kind of regret the "mine everything" approach. i literally have 13,000 cards waiting for me when i turn my mining decks back on.
it's going to take me years to complete my mining decks. but that's seperate from JLPT so i'm not focusing on those right now.

>FES is worse.
https://www.resetera.com/threads/why-persona-3-fes-is-still-the-single -greatest-persona-game.28593/
here's my take on persona 3 fes, back when i used to be a member of resetera which i regret highly.
FES is better, because Tactics only works when it's forced. read the thread for more details.

The tactics system is so clunky and unintuitive. The "immersion" it provides is really just frustration, and controlling them through only your turn with a series of vague commands feels terrible. There's a reason no other RPG series has used it since.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>50860248
Persona 3 FES is a rare case where you need to understand the philosophy behind the game, because the developers had a vision for the game.
ATLUS nowadays just makes Persona games "for RPG Fans", but it was something much more special with FES. It's a case where the Developer Intent wins and ATLUS fought the director over it's implementation every step of the way, and the director's vision still ran.
I pin FES as a game for philosophers, it's a game where you really need to think.
>>
>>
>>
>>
>>50860275
The game can be ball-bustingly cheap on hard mode, even with the controllable party members mod, but when you combine that with the tactics system, it just becomes unfair. I'm not even sure if they really intended for people to play on anything but normal with it.
I understand what the devs were going for, but good gameplay trumps esoteric systems.
>>
>>50860289
then you side with ATLUS over Hashino.
i can acknowledge that. that's the current vision for Persona (to fuck Hashino's vision).
Katsura Hashino is no longer with ATLUS. and i don't blame him for leaving. they just couldn't implement his vision.
who knows what will happen with Persona 6's new director? we'll soon find out.

Hey bros, do you know where I can find a website to watch anime raw? I was watching Angel Cop in 9anime, but the site stopped working right as I finished the third episode, and I think it might not work again, much like Animelon up to this point, which I was using before.

Yes, the spirit of the American South and the spirit of Japan share some surprising similarities, often termed a "kindred spirit" connection despite being highly dissimilar in other areas. Both cultures are characterized by strong traditions of politeness, deep-rooted conservatism, respect for history and elders, and a focus on community cohesion, often stemming from parallel experiences of defeat and rebuilding
Key Commonalities: Southern and Japanese "Spirit"
Conservatism and Tradition: Both regions place a high value on tradition, heritage, and social structure. They often act as conservative counterpoints to their more progressive metropolitan counterparts (the urban US North or Tokyo, respectively).
Politeness and Hospitality: Both cultures are renowned for their manners—often quiet and efficient—and an emphasis on hospitality. While Japanese omotenashi is formalized and Southern hospitality is typically warmer, both are focused on making guests feel welcome.
History of Defeat and Resilience: A significant parallel exists in their histories, both having been defined by loss in major wars (the Civil War in the US, WWII in Japan). This shared history has created a culture of resilience, nostalgia, and a "struggle with heritage" that informs their modern identity.
Community over Individual: Both emphasize the importance of family, social hierarchy, and collective unity over rampant individualism.
Aesthetics and Nature: Both share an appreciation for the aesthetics of simplicity, natural materials, and a close relationship with nature.

The person claiming "it really doesnt" (No.50862727) is more correct overall. The "spirit of the American South" and the "spirit of Nippon" (Japan) share some superficial or cherry-picked overlaps, but they differ profoundly in core values, social structure, history, and worldview. The claim of strong resonance is a romanticized or meme-driven take that doesn't hold up under scrutiny.
