Why is it locked?
>>
>>64891291
What's up with the middle/highschool locker setup
>>
>>64891300
Because there's ammo in it
>>64891304
A local office closed and just cleared out stuff for free on FB marketplace
>>
>>64891321
>Because there's ammo in it
So what? why would you lock your ammo up? That makes no sense, I have like 10k rds just sitting on the floor in the living room
>>
>>64891291
I remember you posting when you got them. How well do ammo boxes stack in each cubby? Isn't there a lip on the edge of each mail box?
>>
>>64891354
>why would you lock your ammo up?
He has extra naughty ammo.
>>
>>64891354
More to the point why would you lock your ammo up with a padlock that can be opened without the key in less than a second?
>>
>>64891354
>>64891429

Every barrier adds a delay for an adversary. It also means they have to go through, unlock/cut each lock, and look for the ammo they want. Only thing I’d change is having some ammo for their defensive gun stored outside of this setup.
>>
>>64891561
>for an adversary
What adversary has barged into your house, and doesn't have their own guns and ammo?
>>
>>64891321
I remember you. Me personally I wouldn't lock them, but you do you. In any case, looks pretty nice methinks
>>
>>64891291
Make sure that room has low humidity.
>>
>>64891561
Here is my shit. Poorly locked up and out in the open for you.
>>
>>64891602
Shut up you insufferable furry faggot. Stop pretending you don't understand the utility of locking things up.
>>
>>64891418
Stacks pretty affiligently. No, no lip

Not sure why my phone is taking ass pics today
>>
>>64892182
That's pretty cool. Are all the lockers full? Can you show us the whole thing opened? How do you have it organized?
>>
>>64891429
>a padlock that can be opened without the key in less than a second
How?
>>
>>64892188
The 12 gauge lockers and the .308 locker are the only ones that are completely full

I put a label of what's in the individual cabinets in the blue magnetic tater chip clips

I'm gonna try to see what's wrong with my phone before I take any more pics
>>
>>64892188
this guy's trying to plan a burglary
>>
>>64892227
If bruh can geolocate from info provided I would give him some ammo

He could be a mod with my IP, I guess tho
>>
>>64892227
>>64892248
Unfortunately I'm not that smart, just starting to learn a map and compass sadly. But I do think the lockers are a cool idea, I would be worried about rust/water/air getting in there. Are you doing anything to prevent that? Will whole ammo cans fit in there? It's a lot of lockers and I'm assuming you don't shoot that many different calibers, do you have separate ones for like bullet weight or hp vs fmj or is it all just kinda thrown in there.
>>
>>64892342
A few got lumped in together that I don't have a whole lot of but 5.56, 7.62x39, 9mm all got their own lockers. Then there's a misc locker for stuff I don't even have guns for. Ammo that people have given me, or that I bought because it was stupid cheap.

I have a bunch of desiccant packets strewn about in several lockers. IDK if you remember from several months ago, but the locks were even free xD
>>
>>64892215
>he doesn't know about slapping
Look up McNally on YouTube.
>>
>>64892352
I do remember you posting back when you got these things.
>>
>>64892182
i thought it was lame off the first picture but now i think it looks cool. I use an old file cabinet, the heaviest ammo on the bottom followed by rifle, then pistol, then shotgun and accessories on the top. it's heavy as shit.
>>
>>64891291
LPL... :)
>>
>>64891602
There’s plenty of moron thieves who get away with stealing guns and ammo from folks who are even bigger morons about storing their shit.
>>
>>64892676
>from folks who are even bigger morons about storing their shit.
Wouldn't someone who is smart about their storage keep the ammo somewhere that it can be safe from humidity?
>>
>>64892963
>safe from humidity

Lol what a meme. I have a brick of .22s that's been in my wide open shed for well over a decade. I'll grab a few here and there to kill a squirrel or whatnot and I don't think I've ever had a misfire.
>>
>>64892182
Why wouldn't each cubby be it's own ammo size? Why are they mixed? This infuriates my autism...
>>
>>64895533
As long as I can reasonably access any box of any caliber I didn't see an issue with not taking up a whole cubby for a half dozen boxes of this or that
>>
>>64891291
Honesty, based
>>
>>64892963
Looks to me like they are inside a house. Normal AC should be enough to handle that.
>>
>>64891291
>>64892182
I like it Anon, looks like something you'd do in a zombie survival game
>>
>>64892182
>Falling for the world prep larp
>For his hunting rifle too
You might be autistic lmao. No one actually expects you to stock 243 win even larpers. You've got 40 years of hunting.
>>
>>64891291
I dig it OP.
It's autistic and organized, very practical.
But have you booby trapped any of the compartments with cum?
>>
>>64892215
Masterlocks have really bad security flaws. If it's a chinesium knockoff, even worse. Get paclock for good USA-made padlocks
>>
>>64897815
Padlocks are a meme. Even the $400 ones are trash.
>>
>>64891291
Very cool dude, doesnt get much better than that. Would love to have something similiar
>>
open all the doors and take a pic
>>

>>64891354
My state requires ammo be locked up.
>>
>>64891429
>McNally has entered the thread
>>
>>64897609
Yeah that's fine, I got it stupid cheap.
>>
>>64899715
That mother fucker is a menace because now all I want to do is figure out how many shitty locks I see in the wild I can slap open, but the misdemeanor/felony wouldn't be worth it.
>>
>>64900384
>This is a Masterlock 607 I'll be opening it using a Masterlock 607 xD
>>
>>64891321
lol
>>
>>64898457
I enjoy the unconventional compliance.
>>
>>64891561
>unlock/cut each lock, and look for the ammo they want.
My niggie they are thieves, they'll still take the ammo they dont actively "need", because that shit is still valuable. They can then upcharge Jaykwon and sell him the wrong ammo and Jaykown wont notice until he tries to load his gun later.
>>
>>64892182
Alright anon I’ll admit I thought this was a gay idea based on the picture in your initial post. But this picture made me think it’s actually a good idea.
>>
>>64913471
Yay I had a good idea xD
>>
>>64891291

Do better on an img bd.

Can't read the labels, but if you have each locker sorted by calibur and mark it, that seems like a great way to store and sort.

>>64891321
Bit jealous that you got those for free.
>>
>>64919129
Yeah that's exactly what the labels are. I had a bunch of magnetic chip clips I also got for free lol

Yeah I also got some desks and chairs. They had some concrete picnic tables but my tractor is out of commission so I had no way to load them
