I remember when this came out and thinking that it was a little bit too advanced, it felt like tech we'd get in the 30s or 40s. I'd read books and watched TV shows in the 90s which made wildly unrealistic predictions of the future, including things like moon cities, and everyone wearing form fitting silver suits for some reason. Anyone who grew up in this era will understand.

So I tapered my expectations of the future when we got to the 2010s and things were definitely more advanced, but within touching distance of what came before. Little did I know what we had at the time and how things would progress.
