Dedicated nerds have effectively perfected the 3D printed handgun that uses no gun parts, the Y22H:
>semi-automatic
>compact
>rugged design
>takes DIY ECM barrels
>takes homemade springs
>10rd 22lr
>easy to print
>easy to build
However, since 3D the 3D printing community is extremely fucking niche and consists of a tiny group of trannies, neo-nazis, and 2A extremists, these things haven't really made their way into the public sphere yet. Apart from the Liberator causing a stir and the FGC9 being used in Myanmar, 3D printed firearms are effectively unknown.
Do you think that will change?

Much in the way that 4k video gaming was "supposed to be" cheap and widely adopted "by now", or batteries were "supposed to" have made some massive leap, or fusion power is "supposed to" be viable any day now, the advancements in 3d printing materials+precision+quality have not become reality after 15 years.
If you want to play with toys, run a failed etsy shop, make some youtube videos about flavor of the month science projects, whatev but I'm not dumping $3,000 and a lot of time into it to get caught up in then

You need a spring even for double action unless you think you can pull a trigger fast enough to set off a primer.

What $3000 machine do you think is going to give more quality and precision than what you can get for $500 plus another $200 or so worth of upgrades? Also 4k gaming is cheap, how poor are you?
