I was absolutely thinking its eyebrows, not sure what to do abt it tbhon. went to a salon and the lady insiiiisted not to get them thin and that i wont look good with an arch bc my eyebrows are naturally straight. had no idea what to say so i just let her clean them up
>chin and browbone
i was thinking this too, but all things considered, i dont think my chin is too grim. i have a pronounced brow ridge for sure

My natural brows are genuinely brezhnev-level so I have quite a bit of experience having to deal with threaders, and the solution really is just being firm in telling them what you want, it took me getting honbrowed several times to really commit to this lol. Overshooting is fine because you can just let it grow back in. Get them threaded until you find what you prefer/are satisfied with and then maintain with tweezing from there (or experiment yourself; remember, they will always grow back).
I've also had a similar experience trying to get them arched. They really don't want to give me a rounder arch and always do what you can see in picrel and make them angular and say its because of my facial/bone structure but idk. Might try to change this soon.
Picrel is my starting point to what I consider was my brows at their best (I've kind of let myself go with them recently but I still maintain them, they've kinda flattened out though because I went a long while between clean-ups). It took I would say a few months for me to follow through with getting them to that, especially because as you can see there was quite a bit to get through and they were resistant to like, any change.
IMO your brows aren't *too* bad right now, do need to be raised and thinned a bit. Probably arched too, but I can't speak to any particular degree because I'm also still figuring that out; dunno if the threaders' words hold any weight or if its similar to their resistance to modifying them at all. Best call is probably looking at cis women of your ethnicity and going from there.

They are worried that you are a retarded straight man who is confused about what he wants, and if they give you what you ask for, you will meltdown because they made you look like a fag.
If you aren't ashamed to do so you could literally just tell them "yeah I'm transgender and want to look more like a woman" and it might get them to do what you want

brezhnev level kiiills me, but i get you. I think your eyebrows look good, but I can see what you mean about trying to round them out more. im honestly pretty scared of getting honbrowed on purpose. it's irritating how much you have to push to get them to do what you want. I cant discount it being a communication error on my part, but honestly like, its terrifying walking into a salon and the place falling quiet and staring at u like u're a skinwalker

Yeah, I really worry about the 'on purpose' thing insofar as they possibly don't want to do my brows a certain way because they want to keep them masculine; I do think this probably genuinely plays a part unfortunately :<
>I cant discount it being a communication error on my part
Don't really think you can be blamed, they do resist what you actually say you want them to do and yeah there's quite a bit of pressure to just let it go lest one comes off as being weird about it (esp. if there's other people in there too, god forbid someone in queue after you).
Sucks all around, but I suppose it can be likened to "buy once, cry once" where you just have to bite the bullet for the sake of the long term desu. Easier said than done though obvi.

WORSE actually. clients were chiming in agreeing. like 4 older women just gassing me up abt the thickness of my eyebrows and convincing me theyre perfect as is. fmstl. it did make me blush but i knew i wasnt gonna leave looking how i wanted

Fuck that does suck, damn. Closest thing I got is the closest threader to me like, prides her service on keeping thicker brows, literally "NOT OFFERING A THINNER ARCH" in bold text on her reservation form, and always comments on it when I go to her. + the other place I go to is staffed by people who are also predisposed to giving thicker brows (and are the people I have to haggle about it with the most).
Thicker brows are in style now I think? and threaders usually complement the thickness of my brows when I come in with them relatively unkempt (and typically comment regardless on how bold they are in the sense of being very hair-dense), but it is kind of a different situation for us (+ "thick" is a different relative scale for women's brows).
