tldr; trans need to go into fields that rely purely on ability as they cannot rely on credentials or connections
Your average 14-24 year old transitioner will have their school work majorly disrupted.
They may flunk a semester, they may get many Cs and just skate by. Either way, they'll have to work way harder to maintain a competitive GPA. Some may do it but it's statistically very difficult.
If this happens in Uni, their GPA is permanently tanked and they can't get the type of degrees that leads to a good job(AGP coded).
If this happens in High School they may not graduate, and fail to learn how to even get a credential(HSTS coded).
Thus they need jobs that they can "just do"(without relying on connections or credentials to get the job) and which directly reward how good you are at the job.
Jobs that fit:
>programmer(judged on the code you produced)
>sex worker(judged on how hot you are)
>the military also functions like this, you just enter and are then judged for how well you do.
There are ways to overcome being failed by the credential system, but they are niche and not great(i.e. GRE).
Lots of normies w/o credentials would just use connections. Epstein did it afterall.
However, most trans will not be able to perform socially well enough to form connections like this until they are stealth. At that point they're already a bit locked out unless they put in tons of effort into those areas.
I also think this seems to apply to common FTM professions:
>artist which is judged on the quality of the art
>blue collar manual labor, if you're a landscaper you're judged on the result
Anyhow, I think it might be wise for trans to work on credentials and connections especially once stealth and done with transition as it'll make life much easier.

a few additional points
>1.I think the causation may also be reversed in some cases, i.e. people in pure ability fields or who think more in terms of pure ability are going to be less harmed by transitioning and so will be more likely to do it. The military trans are a good example of this. A person who cares desperately about their credential wouldn't risk the time they'd lose studying to transition. A person in the center of a large social circle wouldn't give that up.
>2. Older transitioners/hons who have relied on their credentials tend to view transitioning as being more about credentialing. They usually get their name changed very fast. Focus on going through the "proper" transition channels to have it viewed as legitimate. Prioritize SRS over passing because it makes them credentialed as a woman, etc.
>3. Some social butterfly/connection people may have dysphoria and enough social power to get people to gender them correctly but are afraid of losing that power if they actually transition. I.e. theyfabs who go from pretty girl to nerdy man and loses her orbiters. Conversely some connections people who are not trans(in the sense of being dysphoric) may identify as trans-adjacent to foster connections with trans people, I have seen this in theymabs though it's relatively rare.

Yes, that is the point but it doesn't work so well when you are old or if the websites change. It has a limited time window. What happens when your ability goes away (looks fade due to age, programming skills become obsolete and replaced by AI, etc.).

I did so shit in uni my first semester for engineering bc of troon related stuff- now I’ve effectively been forced into studying finance a field in which I must rely on my Jewish family for connections, idk what to do I’ll have to wait longer I doubt I’ll even be able to man mode- I’m 19 now it will only get worse

You can retroactive withdrawal your bad semester with a letter from a therapist and maybe a lawyer to argue your case before the school. Will erase those grades.
Also may want to take a year off and finish trooning before you dig a deeper hole/worth considering.

Yea, these are great. Exact meritocratic path. Ability tested and then credentialed so you just get the credential. It is a fairly niche field tho so for those not in the know hard to be aware it's an option.
What's pay like?
