>acute and substantial dysphoria over being seen as male
>refuses to present as female due to the risks involved
>this behaviour continues even in social situations where presenting as female is accepted, or even expected

for some, this might seem as a fairly standard transgender experience, but in most cases the only solution for dysphoria is to present as female. is it possible that "boymoding" is actually a fairly standard expression of nonbinary identity in natal males and has gone unnoticed? a possible cause is that nonbinary people are often seen as optics nukes who just want to permanently present as drag queens (irregardless of their natal sex).

name ONE social situation where being a hon is better than a feminine guy

any social situation that is predominantly lgbt or where progressive politics are the social norm. examples include gay bars, pride events, and lgbt/progressive groups at universities. binary transgender people generally start presenting as female in these environments fairly early into their transition, or even preceding it.

idk i just dont like causing social friction or making other people uncomfortable. i only present as a feminine male because its easier to blend in that way. even with trans allys, being seen as the token tranny doesnt do much to allievate dysphoria

thiis! i also just don't feel like risking getting outed by people who i know would be supportive, but don't trust with something so personal.

The connotations that boymoder has developed imply attractiveness and femininity, which are severely lacking in AMAB enbies.

Boymoders really don't want to be women. They want to be feminine men

You're unsurprisingly completely in the dark on how common it is for people to adopt progressive sounding word salad just for fun. Lots of groups are full of straight girls patting themselves on the back for implying they're bi and generally just shaming anyone with unspoken isolation tactics and shallow tolerance just to avoid being seen acting like repugnant feral pigs.

yes, that is incredibly common. however, it is also very easy to distinguish between these types of people and people who are genuinely progressive. most often the easiest way to tell is by seeing how other transgender people are treated by them.

transbian john 50 support group. that's the one situation

There are no situations where presenting fem for your typical boymoder is accepted. They're (usually) not non-binary, they just don't want to get hatecrimed

We want to be women, and being seen as trans defeats the point because people see trannies as third gender at best.

you can't just wear a dress one day if you're not a girl even if you're somewhere that's "accepting" and also even getting to these places requires going through normal society likewhat about my neighbors
also people aren't really as accepting as they claim...
