Haven't seen a shelf thread in a while.

I just started to create my own so that's why I don't have any classics, just books I want to read lately.

I bet you're fun at parties

>>25112480
I own originals of these

>>25112483
Not OP but parties are gay
>>
>>25112480
Trash. Readers Digest level. I expect to see Jordan Peterson in the box just off camera.
>>
>>25112483
Shut up, OP ordered them from largest to smallest and that’s kinda cute, I bet he’s fun.
>>
Sure, why not. I mostly read e-books, but here's some of the random books I have on my shelf. The rest of the shelves are less reputable or math and music theory, so I omit those.

Looks like one of those cheap Amazon versions with AI generated covers and public domain translations
>>
>>25114170
It's bought off Amazon. The cover is AI generated? Fuck, I should have just waited to buy it in person.

It might not be, I dunno. But when ordering off Amazon, always google the publisher if you don't recognize the name. Most of the Amazon in-house ones are complete trash

Maybe it's for the old folks with big type for their ailing eyes

Are these threads a joke? How come so many of you have pathetic shelves of less than 40 books?
>>
>>25114191
it's wilf how so many midwitcore books use bright yellow covers to attract their moth readers kek

most people on /lit/ are newfaggots who just started reading 12-15 months ago and are desperate to take pictures for someone else to care

almost never does Jordan Peterson have anything to do with what he's associating with when this insult is used, just imagine waiting for your grandmother coming home from church to rhetorically ask her if she went to the Jordan Peterson fanclub with a smug smile on your face, redditors are so pathetic and mad at everything which doesn't fit their area of interest, it's sad actually

what simple, fallacious thinking
>>
>>25115607
you don't know anything about the people you call Jordan Peterson fans and I am the best example in this case, for years online people like yourself have said that I'm a "larper" as their first reaction to me owning orthodox christian books or saying that I'm orthodox, portraying me in their heads as an american convert who larps online about some exotic form of christianity while in reality I was baptized at birth because I am from eastern europe and never "converted" to anything
>>
>>25115604
>>25115607
Not any of the anons with which you are arguing but you seem like an idiot, reducing people's arguments to your own strange interpretation of their statements. Also your gay stock reaction images are retarded.

>>
>>25115999
There are two leftist bookstores in my town that have events where you can fill a bag for $5 from their unsold stock. Lots of critical theory, 90s publications, even old 60s and 70s paperbacks from those. The rest was just parted together over the last 15 or so years of buying books I recognize from here at estate sales, thrift stores, etc
>>
>>25114191
You selling any of these?
>>
>>25115715
Not that anon, but my paperbacks look the same. I'll hold that shit as awkwardly as necessary in order to keep from fucking up the spine. It's a curse.

No.
I’m either going to put these in a container somewhere and hope they survive whatever hell awaits un in the near future or give them to someone who can preserve them and make sure they can be read by future generations better than I can.
