Where the fuck do you even find a good essay or paper in 2026 that's actually relevant to anything?
Everything's lobotomized. You go to Substack and it's liberal normie politics or lesbian feminist takes. You search for papers and they're just quoting old stuff, not actually saying anything worthwhile.

I'm in the process of writing something hyper-relevant to current events. It has little to do with politics, it will probably end up being more a treatise than paper-length, and just about everyone is going to hate it and probably refuse to engage with it rationally. I'm excited. I'll be sure to share it here.

It's really good. I like his essays more like "Ideas y Creencias", "Ensimismamiento y Alteración", and others. Very smart man.

because he's not necessarily wrong. Borges himself even admits English is superior to Spanish. most of what Spain has been doing for last several centuries is recover from Muslim conquest and the effects of a brutal civil war. native culture can't grow where there is always contingencies based on existential struggles for mere survival.

Stop looking for essays about politics and current events. Theology, mathematics or poetry would be better, more worthwhile ways to spend your time.
