Sure I guess, I don’t really like cinema though, I find it rather trite and gay with most film directors being pretentious faggots who could never create great art without stealing from another artistic medium. Sculpture and painting however, though I’m not erudite enough to talk too much on it, is a far more artistic visual art.

This is my problem with film and tv. The people in that world are insufferable. I know because I used to be one of them.

"Cinema" is the lowest form of collaborative art.
Video games aren't art, at all, and I'm an oppressed gamer that beats 50+ games a year.

>video games aren’t art
I’m pretty sure we’re all in agreement with this on /lit/. On /v/ however, you’re bound to rouse the autists if you make a thread, perhaps even making it to the bump limit.

If you like the use of symbolism, then yes.

>Video games aren't art
Except for SMT 3

No
>why?
You asked me thereby giving me authority to decide the matter, and I have.

SMT3 is great fun, I’ll admit that.

>I actually don't kill puppies

Sure. Totally legit.

i also have the authority to ignore your unreasoned argument, so i shall

I won't contradict you because I respect SMT fans. At least they play their games, unlike Personiggas.

Do you consider IHNMAIMS (the short story) art? Even bad art? If so, why wouldn't you consider its video game adaptation art?
>>
>>25117355
i don't like the structured nature of it. how the production system almost demands rigid structures be followed.

What were his favorite books do you think?

Not just that, there isn’t a sole “artist”. It’s a collective effort that costs more money than talent, many art films fail to circumvent this. It’s still all just a simulacrum of theatre.
Don’t get me wrong I’ll watch movies with people and whatever, I just don’t care for it as an art form.

>"The Bicentennial Man" is far beyond the scientific realities of our time, that is to say that science does not allow such a thing; however, it is entertaining but not in a useless way.
>“The Bicentennial Man,” by Isaac Asimov (1920--1992) has recently been published in Farsi. I came across it. In this book, a robot suddenly develops intellect, conscience and comprehension capability! This is far beyond the scientific realities of our time, that is to say that science does not allow such a thing; however, it is entertaining but not in a useless way , it’s not nonsense; the book opens new horizens to the mind and this is a good thing. This type of books has always existed. There were stories which were only imaginations at the time they were written but now they are close to reality.

this is a true specimen of the ‘zero-information post’
no matter the framing with which it is read, trying to fairly appraise it for credibility results in internal contradictions.
pu,
just plain stinky.
