Then again, SOC King Exkaiser only just got a brush-up, and Good Smile is sucking up all series licenses like there's no tomorrow, to the point where the Action Toys J-Decker might be close to getting cancelled. Hard to say, since it took me so long to actually finish it so the first half of the show is a bit of a blur.

In general, my favorite things about the series were the interactions between the Braves and the humans, and the discussions about AI and emotion, humanity, etc. That sort of stuff was really fantastic.

Least favorite I guess would be Yuuta's voice maybe? I got used to it but it's still a bit grating. I really like him as a protagonist though. Otherwise I would've preferred if the final fight lasted longer. Its conclusion felt a bit underwhelming.

If you want full articulation out of it, it looks like Exkaiser needs to be partially disassembled. Takara Tomy changed it to fold up into a new storage slot for similar articulation reasons
I imagine when GSC eventually puts out their own, it'll be accurate to the original toy / show at the expensive of course of being a brick but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

King Exkaiser's transformation requires something to be sacrificed, unfortunately, because going by the show, King Exkaiser's hips, knees and shoulders line up with Exkaiser's hips, knees and shoulders and that results in stocky proportions and limited articulation.
I think the recently announced SMP has the best balance. SoC compromises a lot to prioritize the proportions and looks as King Exkaiser (and IMO that's fine considering how good he looks and moves) and Toyrise is a bit of a mess and doesn't even try to replicate the Form Up sequence

Any other Korean or diaspora here that watched these decades ago? I think I first watched Korean dub Da Garn in like 1998 but my mom tells me it was 2000. I dunno. I owned all the toys. So it was either 2000 or 2003 when I went to Korea again to watch Might Gaine. I owned so many of the toys. Might Gaine, Bombers, Da Garn, Land Bison, Pegasus Saber, Gaon. Couldn't buy Seven Changer. I was actually at the event in Korea recently, and could only buy fighbird. 25 years I wanted seven changer. But still, out of grasp. Oh well. Buying Granbird so I will be able to Saikyo gattai soon.

To me it seems like the progression goes You as a child would watch Time Bokan/Doraemon, Braves, then Shounen slop or Gundam. It's no wonder this series stayed in Japan and isn't very popular globally.

Varion also kind of resembles a bike in shape, but it's actually a really big vehicle that just happens to have two wheels.
