Unironically probably the best new show that's come out in years and the only one that didn't disappoint me in some ways. The show managed to hit just the right balance where it's kind of a comedy that's genuinely funny but it's also a sincere homage to the genre and the threats, stakes, and conflict are taken 100% seriously (I'd compare it to like...it is to Brave stuff what Kung Fu Hustle is to martial arts flicks). It was very fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. I don't think it really needs a sequel though I wouldn't mind if it had been a little longer and I'd love if the crew behind it did a follow=up in a similar vein.

Not watching the show, but interested in the mecha and gattai aspects. I like Brave robots and this seem like a spiritual successor to Brave. Hope it continues as a franchise not necessarily has to be a sequel.

So lucky to get so much fanart for a mecha anime property in the 2020s...

Was pretty good. Bravern's design was cool but the rest didn't do much for me, and the action was well directed but CG mecha just lacks that punch that those sorts of fights deserve.

It felt rushed at the end there as well. Felt like it woulda benefited from just a few more episodes.

Honestly, I thought Bravern's design was pretty damn mediocre and just Obari going through the motions to the point where it became so predictable that you could easily guess by the second or third episode that yeah, this is going to end in some upgrade with shoulder cannons.
Probably the worst thing was the Brave Thunder that was almost on the same level as Orguss' and R.Jetan's tank modes and looks and feels like one of those unintended joke alt-modes that people put their Transformers/robot toys in.
