He instantly vaporizes, then following scene happens:

the meme doesn't make a whole lot of sense since haman doesn't show up in GQX, but basically there's a point in the show where kycilia takes in the dark haired girl as a promising newtype pilot candidate for her forces. the girl is a war orphan with no documentation or anybody to help her, so she takes the offer. kycilia has a couple of scenes where she gives the girl a comfortable place to live, and overall kycilia is quite kind to her and even acts sort of motherly, there's no scenes or inner dialogue showing an ulterior motive or that it was just acting.

it's also a thing in this world that kycilia and giren have been in a cold war sort of conflict, giren is at side 3 and kycilia has been holed up on the moon for years after the OYW as both of them seem to fear assassination attempts if they leave their seats of power. kycilia in this timeline might just be a lonely lady starved for some kind of normal family interaction, as opposed to her other depictions which usually are more like "cutthroat scheming tiger woman" or something like that

The Char's Deleted Affair manga had some vague backstory about Haman already being known as a potential newtype at an early age, but we're not told much about it at all, so there's zero interaction shown there, I'm sure.

MSV-R Shin Matsunaga manga (not to be confused with the MSV-R Johnny Ridden manga) shows a young Haman already in Zeon uniform next to Kycilia, but how that story goes, I have no idea.
