The biggest red flag is the director was someone who had never watched Digimon Adventure or Zero Two and most importantly could not be bothered to watch either of them to do the research on the show. It's been over a decade and I still cannot work out how the fuck Toei thought the series would work when the people behind it didn't have the slightest idea what they were doing.

Personally, I've begun leaning towards the idea that she's Makoto's older sister. She seems to young to be a mother, even by anime standards. It would add a different dimension to her attempts at capturing Chiropmon if Makoto's the heir apparent to the family while she's getting overlooked. Then again, maybe I'm jumping to conclusions because it reminds me of a similar plot in another cyberpunk anime.

I feel we need a deeper explanation as to WHY Makoto ran away. Yes, we're told that getting a Digimon in Shangri-La is responsible for your expulsion, but given his status as a High-End Block citizen and presumably former heir to Kuonji Industries, there has to be more to it than just that.

God damn, I didn't expect it to be awesome.
easily a 9/10 manga despite the simple premise.
every chapter is fun to read, Gabo is so adorable I'd die for him, Zero is cool, the fights are all good.

Another great episode. High action, high emotion. Actually made me sympathize with Raito a little, although I feel much worse for Monodramon. Also the new rendition of Resonance was great, really hit hard during the last scene.

- Interesting how they mentioned the underground fights were Klay's main enterprise. So he mines for for talent via the fights, then refines them via Tactics?

Another great ep. Perfect blend of tense action, emotional moments, and just overall great moments.

- Man, what a start. Pic related is probably the most badass distance shot in recent memory.
- Gigasmon's making a bad habit of getting disarmed.
- I actually felt for Naito after his flashback to Klay praising Kyo, but he quickly ran through that good will.
- Got a laugh from Tomoro answering Raito's remark about laughing at him with "Sure, I'll laugh! After I get you out of here."
- I had a theory that the losers e-Pulse was being farmed to feed a Digimon, but I wasn't expecting it to be used for Proganomon.
- Holy shit, Reina. No wonder she's being compared to Masaru. Tanking a hit from a Legend-Arms Digimon capable of withstanding Perfect attacks and actually stopping them? Kind of got mood whiplash from Reina spinning around like that though.
- Wasn't expecting full frontal nudity from Ludomon. This show is really pushing the limits.
- Hearing Ludomon speak after all this time was nice to hear.
- So now that Klay's out of a job, I wonder if he's going to plan revenge, or grovel to the team for help in exchange for info?
- Waiting two weeks to see Hotaruko's development and Honoka finally in action is bullshit. They timing isn't lost on me, but it's still annoying.

This was a fucking brutal scene, and Proganomon surging through the floor afterwards was incredible. The absolute futility Raito experiences breaks him into lunacy. All of Tactics' victories were for nothing. Bomber, Koemon, Haruomi, the other recaptured auction lots, the Greymon owner: all food for Proganomon. Absolutely dark stuff.
