Bolar has proof that a "witch" really exists but no proof that it is related to the cold thing (the proof is used to justify their expansionism)
Yamato and gamilas attack the fortress and bolar jumps in at the end to help
Alfon and lambel show up too and alfon confronts kodai Wanting to negotiate to give yamato the fortress but allow the dezarian civillians to evacuate
They agree but find the fortress is empty and run by the mother AI faking dezarians there
Alfon is injured on the way back and in a coma and yuki has to sleep in his pod to wake him up and she sees he has two sets of memories
When he gets up the other dezarians have been synced and think yamato massacred civilians on the fortress, including lambel who was there
Yuki and alfon start to figure out that mother is faking a lot and it's unclear how many actual dezarians even exist - the invasion fleet might be all just AI
Also on earth everyone's being gaslit into wearing the com medals which are turning them into dezarians
a new sada wakes up and the mother ai says she's a part/avatar of her (bunshin)
Meanwhile yamato makes it to the center of the galaxy and enters the singularity and emerges
200 years in the past, floating over present day shinjuku

Characters do discuss that maybe the future thing is all faked but then what about sasha
Unclear how many of the dezarians memories are even real
Unclear what the witch and fortress and that cold spell shit going on for 1000 years have to do with each other

not-Stalin's fortress-ship is made from ancient ruins with ancient super technology and has a black hole cannon (縮退砲 is literally the same wording used for the neo granzon's strongest weapon)

they have their stupid myth about a witch and one of their expeditions to the area actually found some cocooned up monster lady in some ancient alien ship and they went "the witch is real we must expand our empire to escape the curse"
Destroying the Dezarium base stops the "curse" so it looks like it was just them being superstitious morons
But yeah the curse was supposedly going on for 1000 years while dezarium only showed up like 2 years ago so that's something else to think about

At this point, I don't know. Yamato was clearly well received and SRW afterwards has always had at least one powerful ship in every game, even if it's OG. And yet, they haven't gone back to Yamato, not even in DD.
I guess there's the issue Yamato's plot dominates the setting too much, but that's really mostly for the original, I think. The sequels could work better alongside other shows.
