It would probably be very good, I don't know if his style would fit Muramasa (which is the one I'd rather see, especially as Demonbane already has an anime) but he pretty much never misses. I don't know if Muramasa can really be done in anime form though. Yes, you can just adapt the main arc from the game, but you miss out on the awesome mechanic where whoever you end up liking the most is the one you kill and start the less favoured heroine's questline. And even from the main arc, both the endings are good in a way where it would suck to not see them animated, not even including the Chachamaru arc. Also there's probably too much rape in it.
But it'd still be good to see a Muramasa anime. They should just reuse the OST from the game, it's one of the best soundtracks ever and the opening might be the greatest of all time.

Honestly I don't know who the best choice would be, but I feel Shin Mazinger-mode Imagawa would revel in much of Muramasa's narration and the full screen calligraphy.

As great as that mechanic is, I don't think it alone *makes* the VN or anything. It's definitely a loss, but not a huge hurdle in the way of an adaptation, unlike something like Saya's presentation which makes it totally unadaptable. And yeah, the soundtrack is incredible.

The mechanic thematically serves the game really well but I agree that it's not super important. Honestly the bigger loss is that you can't adapt multiple routes because Ichijo's route is great but they should definitely focus on the main story over just her's, even if I think it probably has the most mainstream appeal and is also really great thematically.

50 is too much for either, even Muramasa's length is in large part due to its detailed prose describing things which in motion could be shown in seconds. Stretching an adaptation to 25 hours would lead to One Piece pacing.
