I didn't follow any Gavan publicity because I was too butthurt over sentai ending. I was expecting Koko to be Luminous because she looks more serious and Kiki is all bubbly and happy-go-lucky like a comical sidekick. I guess many Japanese kids were surprised, assuming they're watching Gavan at all
