Love this shit. It was even cooler because it tied into the way Setsuna's friendship with Reiji is leading him to get in touch with his own humanity.

This show is such a let down from how much they hype up the multiverse shit

I like the show but my main problem with it is that I feel they aren't doing enough to differentiate Bushido and Luminous's worlds from Infinity's. Their universes and societies feel exactly the same outside of the Gavan being different. Oh and that weird salute that kiki and koto do.

So far the episode that does the best job at selling the main concept of the show was the comedy/filler one with the Ant Gavan.

I wish this was just on a single planet with Infinity and Bushido. the other episodes have been pretty bad
even without the multiverse stuff making it feel very disjointed, it's just too many characters to focus on

After a pretty great episode 7 with good exposition and action we go back to literally nothing happening and fighting the same crab monster since episode 1. This show is turning out to be pretty fucking ass.

It's less a "multiverse" and more just making it so every episode can have it's own setting free from world building constraints.

At this point I feel like they should just ditch the crab monster and just give the main villain a mask or something for fight scenes

They disposed of Crabert pretty much immediately. It was pretty much a gag in the episode

No, the problem is exactly that kids weren't buying the toys so they had to restrict the budget even more. Note even before Sentai ended, we went from fully original monster suits every week, to suits reusing the same base but with different accessories and upper body. This is just an extension of that now. The same monster just with different accessories.

They couldn't, that's why they switched to making only part of a suit in Reiwa and then cancelled the franchise after that also didn't work.
Should note that even Kamen Rider started heavily relying on reused undersuits for their MotW.
