Phew, it was just a bad dream! Now Anon can comfort Celestia by cuddling her!
>>
>>43038344
It's an interesting attempt to give her some backstory, but the book situation puts it in a tricky place. It's isn't really canon and has no weight on the world of the show at all, so the story is kinda just there. Take it if you like it, leave it if you don't. That's how I would see it.

>If #deca.mare made it impossible to have any kind of issues during pregnancy
I can't recall that I ever stated she made every kind of complication impossible. Any potential critical/lethal ones for sure, but there are a myriad of minor things and conditions that (in normal cases) could pop up which might affect either the mother or the foal or both. Things that could range from general malaise to pain and whatnot. Even when these issues don't cause lasting damage, these are still complications that ponies would want to treat as competently as possible.
>The others could tell Fine Point to stop trying to get to her.
Well, they could. That would still be pretty rude though. Or at the very least perceived as a strange reaction.
>By this logic Anon and #deca.mare seems like a pushover.
Pushover is a bit too harsh, I'd say. It's true that Sky is trying to take a bit of a prominent position, but only up to a certain point. He likes to be active and to make a good impression while he's at it, yet he wouldn't want to alienate or snub his comrades and friends with his behaviour. Plus, if we assume that push were to come to shove for some reason, then both Anon and #deca.mare would be more than able and willing to represent and defend their point of view.
>Sky could learn Anon's customs too.
Hm, I've got to think about how that could be integrated.
>You were against exactly this.
You're right. And after thinking about the developing situation for a while, I realised that some concessions would be practically unavoidable in order to keep things plausible whilst Anon is on the planet. And especially so when he doesn't actively control the proxy. The main premise remains intact though. The "autopilot" shall only be used for trivial things, and not to intentionally cut some corners.
>Also #deca.mare could take control of the proxy at the moments notice if required.
Yeah, that's an option too.
>I assumed this "town" is on mostly flat ground due to they being farmers.
Sure, it is. Having fields wouldn't make much sense otherwise. But the village is surrounded by a considerable degree of vegetation which means that it does not really appear as a flat surface. Having a few bushes and trees here and there does a lot to reduce the direct line of sight.
>But I still find it odd that Anon is capable of controlling the proxy via the visor
How so? If the visor is equipped with the hardware to detect Anon's mental commands, it becomes practically a lighter miniature version of the link.
>why can't he just control an avatar of himself? That's face to face too.
It wouldn't be impossible for the visor to do something likes this. But the whole thing boils down to Discord's wish to have a "private audience". It is partially related to what happens in the next chapter.

>sad, lonely and edge mares get husbandos quicker because they need help the most
>moderate mares seeing this despair frequently turning into sad mares and thus getting husbandos quicker
This seems like an unfun loophole. Fix the loneliness-based matchmaking, Cadance.

This is my Moonwife. There are many like her, but this one is mine.
My Moonwife is my best friend. She is my life. I must master my love for her as I must master my life.
Without me, my Moonwife is lost. Without my Moonwife, I am lost. I must love my Moonwife true. I must love more than other Anons who are trying to take her from me. I must win her before they get the chance to do the same. I will.
My Moonwife and I know that what counts in life is not the content of our character, the actions we have taken, nor the atrocities we have committed. We know that it is bumping the thread that counts. We will.
My Moonwife is a mare, even as I am human, and she is my life. Thus, I will learn her as a lover. I will learn her desires, her distastes, her exterior, her interior, her heart, and her mind. I will ever guard her against the ravages of other Anons and mistreatment as I will ever guard my legs, my arms, my eyes and my heart against 3DPD damage. I will keep my Moonwife happy and healthy. We will learn to become part of each other. We will.
Before Luna, I swear this creed. My Moonwife and I are the defenders of true snowpity. We are the masters of the normalfags. We are the saviors of my life.
So be it, until victory is Equestria's and there is peace and mares for Anons!

184.2
>Your senses are already sharp as you come to, and you immediately examine your current situation.
>So you quickly discover that you lie on what appears to be an unassuming wooden lounger, located in an equally unassuming room.
>The place has a rectangular layout, no apparent windows, and rows of chairs and armchairs lined up along three of the four walls.
>This is a waiting room, albeit one which lacks any further notable details.
>Plain, functional, and most definitely not what you would expect to find right now.
>For this is far too standard and mundane for the embodiment of disorder.
>You take a breath.
"Well, that's something, I guess. Discord? Are you here?"
>No answer.
>So you take another deep breath and inspect the fourth wall as you stand up.
>And unlike the others, it does not feature a single chair of any kind.
>But it does have an open door with a wooden frame which leads into an equally bland, albeit long hallway.
>In fact, you cannot even see its end.
"Okay, that's a start at least."
>You head for the hallway, look out for anything that might be unusual, and as you reach the door, you take a long and confident step forward to enter the hallway properly.
>Or at least you would have.
>If there were not a little unforeseen complication in your plan.
>Because just as you are reaching the door frame, you suddenly run face first into an invisible barrier.
>Luckily for you, the simulation does not simulate any notions of pain at the moment.
>Yet the force of the impact, paired with the sheer surprise of being repelled by something, is enough to prompt you to stagger.
>You regain your footing after a few shaky steps and look at the apparent opening with a stumped expression.
"What in the world was that?"
>You approach the wooden frame again.
>But this time, you stop right in front of it and examine the opening thoroughly.
>However, no matter how closely you look, you cannot find anything which really stands out.
>This is nothing more than a pathway into the hallway.
>Said path is currently open, and the door is reaching into the hallway in a perfectly aligned angle of ninety degrees.
>The door is nothing to really write home about either.
>It is a simple wooden construction with a traditional metal handle.
>You have seen many similar variants in virtually every corner of Equestria.
>The only somewhat distinct feature of this particular door is a skewed sign which was indiscriminately glued right on the wood itself.
>It is a name sign.
>Dr. Ocdis, Certified Chaosician.
>Opening Hours: Currently out of stock.
>Trespassing explicitly desired in the time between Saturday to Friday.
>You blink.
"Funny. Did you summon me just to let me run against invisible walls and show me stupid signs?"
>Again, no answer.
>>
>>43074553
>You sigh.
"Fine. Have it your way then."
>You reach out with a hand.
>And sure enough, you feel something where the opening is supposed to be.
>You are definitely touching a surface.
>Hard, yet flat and smooth.
>This piece was crafted.
>And unless you are gravely mistaken, you think that the surface in question is wooden.
>Just like the image of the seemingly open door.
>This gives you an idea.
"Hm, if this means what I think it means..."
>You let your hand wander to the side, roughly to the place where the handle would be if the door were closed.
>Bingo.
>You manage to grab an invisible iron handle which perfectly corresponds with the one on the door.
>Then you hold the handle for a second as you collect your thoughts.
"Here we go."
>You press the handle, slowly open the invisible door, and eye the visually identical counterpart as you do so.
>For you would not be surprised to see the door reacting to your attempts in some way as well.
>Which it does.
>The handle of the visible door moves on its own as you press its invisible counterpart.
>And the door itself starts to move as you push yours.
>It is swinging in your direction, as if the thing is about to close.
>For a second, you consider to stop or to dodge the incoming barrier, but you eventually decide against it.
>You go on and see what happens.
>As you are about to meet the visible door at the forty-five degree angle point, you tense for a short moment.
>Then you phase right through the incoming barrier as it merrily swings further.
>Nothing happened.
>And the way to the hallway is free.
>The invisible door swiftly slows down and stops exactly at the ninety degree angle, and the clicking sound of the faux counterpart indicates that it is now closed properly.
>So you let go of the handle and step into the hallway.
"Come on, Discord. Show yourself."
>You do not really expect him to show up just because you tell him to, but it is worth a try.
>But, rather unsurprisingly, it remains an attempt.
>Nothing happens.
>You sigh once as you keep walking.
>And just as you wonder how far you are supposed to go to reach the other side, your next step does not meet solid ground.
>Your leg simply phases through the ground, prompting you to lose your balance at once.
"Whoa!"
>Which is all you manage to utter before you fall forward and right through the floor.
>You lose sight of the hallway altogether as you plummet into a space which is devoid of any features.
>Everything all round you is white.
>There are no directions, no up or down, and not a single trace of anything that could serve as a reference point for orientation.
>>
>>43074555
>Indeed, you only begin to get a vague grasp on where you are once you hit a solid surface.
>The landing is about as rough as one might expect, as you hit the untraceable floor in free fall and without prior warning.
>Once again, you are glad that the simulation is not set to simulate injuries or pain in this situation, for your simulated self would experience a lot of both right now if it did.
>Even without any injuries to deal with, however, you nevertheless keep lying on the ground for a moment as you try to sort your thoughts.
>But Discord seems to have other ideas.
>Because whilst your are still processing this sudden development, he starts to laugh loudly.
>And you quickly understand that you cannot locate Discord by his mere voice.
>For it is coming from every direction, albeit not quite at once.
>There is a slight, for the lack of a better term, delay in his laughter.
>It is as if the sounds are reaching your ears a little bit faster when they come from one direction than they do from a different one.
>This mismatch is only minimal from what you can tell, but it is just about enough to add an unnerving distorted touch to his voice.
>Plus, to make matters even more irritating, this delay is unsteady too.
>It changes its patterns randomly all the time, making it even harder for you to focus on anything in this white void at all.
>After having a good laugh at your expense, Discord finally speaks up.
>"Oh, what have we here?"
>A pause.
>"Anon? Is that you?"
>You have the sudden urge to give him a sarcastic answer.
>Yet Discord goes on right away.
>"My, you have seen better days, haven't you. Running into doors... falling down stairs... I think you're getting senile."
>The second pause.
>"You know, you should get your eyes checked soon. Maybe you need some glasses, old boy."
>No, sarcasm does not cut it anymore.
>Normally, a slight like this would require an equally biting insult.
>But you know that ticking you off is exactly what Discord wants to achieve.
>Not to mention that none of your quips would be able to shake him in the first place.
>So you take a breath and swallow your anger.
"Hello... Discord."
>The white void around you reacts.
>You can somehow sense that much, even without any visual cues.
>"That's all you have for me? A hello? No 'how are you', no questions about my hobbies? How rude you are."
>A slight vibration shakes the ground you are lying on.
>Yet it disappears just as quickly as it has come.
>Discord goes on.
>"Here, let me show you how it is done."
>He coughs and clears his throat in an overly dramatic manner.
>"Oh hello, Anon! Long time no see! How is your home, your hearth, and your husband doing?"
>You think and speak at the same time as you hear that.
"Uhm, come again?"
>Discord acts as if he had just said the most obvious thing in the world.
>"Why, your handsome gleaming bird horse, of course. I hope he's doing well."
>>
>>43074560
>You grumble.
"How droll."
>You finally decide to stand up whilst a different vibration sets in for another brief moment.
>"Anon, you take him for granted. That's not very recommendable for your relationship. Perhaps another bonding session is in order."
>You roll your eyes.
"Cut it, jester. You know who my wife is."
>A more rhythmic tremor follows.
>This one almost resembles a laughter.
>"Keep telling yourself that. This trite tin can doesn't count. A can with no fire. No fun. It's boring."
>Discord is very lucky that he has no body right now.
>Because if he had, you would consider to introduce him to a flogging.
"Look..."
>You take a breath and calm your desire to spice up your language with a bouquet of colourful insults.
"... don't tell me I came here for nothing. The day on the planet is too good to just sit around."
>More amused vibrations.
>"Correct. And that's what I saved you from. You can't sit around when you're lying in the fridge, now can you."
>You take a long breath.
"Last chance. I called off a stroll through the woods because you wanted to talk about something. But if goofing around is all you have for me, I'll take my leave."
>A fourth pattern forces its way through the room.
>And if you had to associate it with an emotional reaction, you would say that it almost resembles a sigh.
>"Anon, you're as funny as your grey keg. But... fine. If you don't like the good parts, let's settle for the dull talks."
>Sounds like you are finally getting somewhere.
>"You know, you have much time on your claws when you're pretending to be banished by a cluster of shiny small stones that fire rainbows. Enough time to observe what's happening on that quaint globe of yours. Well, you probably don't know how this feels like, but whatever."
>Whatever indeed.
"Okay, I get that. And?"
>Discord goes on.
>"And imagine my surprise when a little bird told me a story. Can you guess what it is about?"
>You tilt your head as you stare into the white void.
"Hm, that the sky is green and the grass is clear?"
>A new vibration.
>One you cannot properly interpret.
>"That would be something, but no. The bird spoke of an... acquaintance of ours who's currently receiving a body that a... certain sometincan has brewed up. And a few allegations mention your involvement in these conspiratorial machinations. Some feathers even claimed you grabbed the spoon to stir the pot."
>Colourful ramblings aside, he is at least starting to address the topic now.
>Which is a start, if nothing else.
>"And I thought to myself 'Discord, old friend, that can't be true... a dear friend like Anon would never do such a thing behind my back.' Unless..."
>You start to listen attentively.
>"... that's just one side of the coin. And there's more to his plan than meets the eye."
>You blink.
"More? Like what?"
>>
>>43074564
>A faint murmur echoes through the nothingness.
>"I see. You want to be enigmatic. Then allow me to enlighten you."
>You hear a single snap as the environment around you changes.
>Some parts of the seemingly endless white space gets suddenly replaced by an equally stark darkness.
>However, you quickly realise that this only holds true for a certain limited area around you.
>For you are now surrounded by what appears to be a cone of darkness.
>The rest of the space remains as it is though, leading to a very crass contrast on the border where the light meets the dark.
>And it appears as if you can see nothing within this new void.
>Including your own limbs.
>You know they are still there because you can feel them as you move your arms and legs, yet you receive no visual confirmation whatsoever.
>Which is, in its own strange way, confusing and irritating.
>"Here we go. The spotshadow will help you to see."
>There are about a dozen or so snarky remarks waiting for you to utter them, but you do not allow yourself to lose your temper.
>For it would do absolutely nothing.
>So you signal Discord to go on, banking on the fact that he can see what you are doing, in spite of the darkness.
>If he chooses to see it, that is.
>Regardless of whether he bothers to heed your signals or not, he continues after a short moment.
>"Now, where was I. Oh, right. Your plans. I trust you've already made some preparations?"
>Once more, you can only ask.
"For what exactly?"
>A muffled droning rumble follows.
>"Part two, my dear think-ahead-friend."
>A definitive, yet also very vague answer.
>One which effectively leaves you with only two options on top of that.
>For you either pretend to know what he is talking about, which would be a clear lie, or you say you are not so bright than Discord claims, thereby calling yourself somewhat stupid.
>You take a breath as you try to come up with an elegant response.
"Right. Part two. Could you remind me again? My short-time memory is failing me at the moment."
>The droning grows in its intensity.
>"Blessed with a brain that has more holes than cheese. Very well."
>A pause.
>"You surely remember that all actions cause reactions. And your latest action still calls for... an adequate reaction."
>You are about to sigh, but Discord does you the favour of not beating around the bush for once.
>"In case your mind suffers from further shortcomings, I'm happy to help you. I speak of nothing else than the vessel for... ugh... Harmony. Tasteless word, by the way."
>You blink.
"Harmony? Our foal?"
>You grumble a second time.
"That's none of your concern, Discord."
>A louder droning shakes the space.
>"Oh, but it is. It's very... personal."
>You tilt your head.
"What gave you that idea?"
>The same droning, yet it seems to sound a tad more aggravated now.
>"You can't see the obvious?"
>>
>>43074566
>You shake your head and try to stifle your grin.
"Nope."
>And this is the truth.
>But whatever it is, it does seem to annoy Discord for some reason.
>Which does repay you at least a little bit for the insults and the missed trip to the forest.
>"If you insist. In words that even you can understand."
>A pause.
>"You're in the process of taking a big step. And I frankly don't think you understand the gravity of your actions."
>You try to guess what he is alluding to, and you do not like your conclusions.
"Don't tell me you're trying to give me an advice on parenting."
>Discord responds to your assumption with clear bellowing laughter.
>"Please don't insult me. Why should I do that? I want to see your family misadventure unfold in its full glory."
>Now you flip him the bird.
>Because enough is enough.
>Yet his reaction is predictable.
>For Discord merely chuckles.
>"Charming. But you're missing the point again, my monkey pal."
>You take another long breath.
"And what the hell is the point now? You're wasting my time."
>You rub your temples and wait for him to answer.
>"The point is, as much as I'll enjoy to see you failing, oh sorry, I mean flailing as a father, this isn't just fun and games. Your experiment will shift a lot of pieces in the grander fabric. What you're doing has a long-time effect on..."
>He struggles to say the next word.
>"... Harmony."
>You tilt your head.
"Uhm... yes? That's kind of a central part of the point behind it. The experience shall help to expand Harmony's horizon. So what?"
>The other major component was the wish of #deca.mare and you to have a family, but you are certain that Discord does not care about this detail in the slightest.
>Not unless he can use it to his advantage.
>Discord responds immediately.
>"So what? There you have it."
>You blink.
"That's the shift you mean?"
>The droning returns once more.
>"Do I have to tattoo it on your lungs? Of course it is. This will flip the whole board upside down!"
>Now you see an opening for a piercing retort.
"If it is, shouldn't you be happy? Disrupting the status quo is your thing."
>The pattern changes again.
>The sound almost resembles a growling now.
>"Not like this. The change is too... one-sided for my tastes."
>You can hardly believe it, but Discord sounds genuinely annoyed for a change.
>This subject must be as pressing to him as Discord says.
>And you think you understand why.
"You believe this development will give Harmony an advantage."
>A pause.
"Or, another advantage, I suppose."
>More annoying rumblings.
>"Well, it's hard to show the world your glory when you're stuck playing the second fiddle all the time. You don't leave me with many options."
>And you swiftly point out why this is the case.
"Yeah, it's true that Harmony has more options than you. This has its reasons though, and you know that."
>>
>>43074570
>Much to your surprise, you hear Discord chuckling.
>"Only because you don't know what you're missing out on. Allow me to prove myself, and we'll have the party of our lives together. Your family and friends are invited too."
>You shake your head.
"Sorry, Discord. But the world can only endure a certain dosage of chaos at a time."
>Discord sighs.
>"Zero appreciation for the finer things in life. But I forgive you. You'll see reason eventually."
>You take the liberty to doubt that, but never mind.
>"Anyway, I understand that it could take a few millennia until you find the light, and that's fine. I don't mind to play my humble part as the bad boy in your... arrangement until the day comes."
>You know that a catch is coming, so you address it right away.
"But?"
>He responds at once.
>"But I can't do that when your poster child is making leaps and bounds whilst I'm stuck here with bread crumbs! These aren't working conditions, this is a sham!"
>So Discord thinks that Harmony will gain a lot by living this life.
>And it would, for the lack of a better term, widen the skill gap between them even further.
>Even when he obviously hates to say it out loud.
>You think back to what Discord said previously.
"Hold on. Actions and reactions? Part two?"
>Your eyes widen as you think the thought.
"Are you saying... you want to undergo a cycle too?"
>A calm rattling follows.
>"Would you look at that. The neurons are finally firing and coming up with something. I have to mark the day."
>Your head almost starts to spin as you consider the implications.
>And of course the complications.
"That's... not a small thing to ask for, Discord. And I frankly didn't see that one coming."
>The following vibration pattern probably resembles dismissal.
>"Yes, yes. Your mental deficiencies are well established. So don't burden your primate brain with too many dull ideas."
>You roll your eyes.
"Fine. Whatever. It still doesn't sound like you though."
>More dismissal.
>"Ugh, the naivety."
>A pause.
>"Let me be abundantly clear. If you think I care about your whole family business, you're even duller than you look. To me, it's a necessity. Or homework, if you will. A practice I need to go through to bless you with more quality chaos. Even disorder requires dry effort sometimes, and the circumstances are... convenient."
>You are not sure what to think of that reasoning.
>It does not really add up.
"An awfully complicated approach. Wouldn't it be easier if Harmony just shared the experiences with you? If all you need is a lifetime of impressions, then that's what you'd get. And what's even better, you have a mutual frame of reference."
>Discord groans.
>And not via vibrations or other strange images this time.
>He does so verbally.
>You take a breath.
"Okay, what's wrong with that?"
>>
>>43074571
>Discord sighs in person.
>"Everything. Do you really think Harmony would get into the kind of stuff which I need for my line of work?"
>You tilt your head.
"What do you mean? Harmony is going to live the life of a regular pony. With everything that it entails."
>You think you hear a growl.
>"Yes, the bland life of your typical goody two shoes! What am I supposed to do with this? I need something more inspirational!"
>Inspirational.
>In other words, something, well, discordant.
>Which can only mean one thing.
"So... if we were to agree to your request, you'd try to start sowing chaos somehow, even during the cycle."
>Discord falls silent.
>For he must have grasped after the fact that he said a tad too much.
"And I think you're aware what that means. We'd have to send a foal onto the path of madness on purpose. Right on day one."
>You inhale.
"I won't do that. #deca wouldn't agree to it either."
>Discord sneers.
>"What a noble spirit. Tell that to your moon princess."
>Hardly a surprise that Discord would bring that up.
>For it is an obvious counterpoint.
>You sigh.
"Believe me, that wasn't pleasant. The same goes for Shade and the others too. What you suggest is much worse though."
>Discord laughs.
>"No, it's not. You're just telling that to yourself to feel better. How very hypocritical of you. I almost approve."
>He keeps laughing.
>"You know, you picked the wrong name for your pony puppet, Anon. You should've called it Double Standard instead."
>You shake your head.
"Discussing morals with you is like trying to gather sand with a fishnet. But what the hell, let me tell you something for once."
>You take a breath.
"You either don't get it, or pretend not to get it. What happened to Luna and the others was a descent, yes. And admittedly a steep one too. But it's only a phase of their lives. One which they can, and with our help, will overcome in the end. It won't be an easy task, but we've promised to make it happen."
>Discord yawns.
>Clearly, your speech does not impress him at all.
>Yet you do not care.
"What you have in mind instead is a pony who knows nothing but chaos and upheaval. It would be a whole lifetime in an unending state of strife, just to further your goals. And you say there's no difference between these two cases?"
>Discord sighs.
>"You're right. It isn't the same. My idea is better."
>You shake your head once more.
"I'm sure you're the only one who thinks that."
>You wait for another second before you mention something else.
>A point which might hint at another motivation behind Discord's actions.
"And that's not the only thing with your plan. As you've said, the foal would have to experience a lot of chaos and disorder. Things which would have to be artificially created since Equestria doesn't have much of those. Even the dragons aren't that wild in their actions. Well, most of the time."
>>
>>43074575
>You inhale.
"But anyway, could it be... that you just try to use the idea as a pretence in order to increase your influence in Equestria? Like, you create an avatar of some kind which acts as a beacon for chaos, and therefore increase the necessity of having more chaos in the world which can be attracted by said beacon. Then you'd need someone who is an expert in those things, like, oh I don't know, yourself for instance, as the conductor who comes up with said chaotic encounters in turn. And you're the obvious choice because no one can even remotely compete with your skills in causing a ruckus. And since you already need all this knowledge to create the perfect mischief to begin with, I don't see what you could learn from such a thing."
>Another pause.
"Discord... I don't know how you think about it, but to me it sounds like... an indirect way for you to roam the world more or less freely. "
>On a limited scale, but still.
>"Does that sound like something I'd be capable of?"
>You answer without hesitation.
"Yes. That's exactly the kind of convoluted and harebrained mess you'd pull off. If you really counted on it to work, that is. It wouldn't be a surprise to me if the entire thing was just a bad joke to bind me here for a while."
>Discord resorts to more growling as he finally appears "in person", right in front of you.
>"I liked you better when you were acting dumber. Now you're spoiling the fun."
>You look at Discord with a deadpan expression and try to show no emotional reaction.
>"Consider it the payback for my missed trip to the woods."
>You mentally prepare yourself to leave.
"Waste of time."
>But just as you are about to leave, Discord chimes in.
>"Anon, wait."
>You blink.
"Why? So that you can play your games further?"
>He groans.
>"Listen... I hate to say it... but this request doesn't stem from the dishonesty of my hearts. Not fully."
>You are not impressed.
"You don't have hearts, Discord, Not even one."
>Definitely not in the physical sense of the word.
>And assuming that empathy is not exactly Discord's strong suit is a sure bet as well.
>You go on.
"Say what you have to say now. I'm heading out after that. And make it quick."
>And you mean it.
>This was enough chaos for one day.
>"Fine. If the foal plan is too exciting for your nerves, here's a compromise."
>You show no overt reaction.
>"A proxy puppet... a body of my own."
>You blink.
"I think that's almost too dumb to ask, but for what purpose?"
>Discord must visually suppress his urge to roll his eyes.
>"Like I said, Anon. For practice. Simple practice. You may have given me the second fiddle to play in your limited understanding of greatness, but I'd be damned if I didn't try to play it well with what I have. My chaos has standards."
>You continue the line of thought for him.
>>
>>43074579
"And a proxy doesn't involve the same moral problems as a full-fledged pony."
>Discord sighs.
>"Yes, yes. Whatever. So what do you say? Does that comply with your... ugh... moral code?"
>You deliberately wait for a short while before you answer.
"I think..."
>Another pause.
"... I'll discuss it with the others."
>Of course, Discord would have preferred to get the green light right away, yet he is certainly not surprised by your decision.
>You take a breath.
"Anyway, I'm out. We'll let you know when we've made a decision."
>One last pause.
"Oh, and Discord?"
>He looks at you with a neutral expression.
>"Yes?"
>You blink.
"It would help if you could learn some basic manners."
>Now he smirks.
>"Funny that you say that, Anon. It was you who shaped me like that."
>Well, this is a fair point.
>At the same time though, you could argue that Discord also has the ability to learn and improve on his own.
>Not quite as elaborately as Harmony, but still.
>However, you do not try to bring it up now.
>For Discord would not like to hear it.
>And you do not want to extend this conversation any further either.
>So you drop the point entirely.
"Okay. See you later."
>Discords acts nonchalantly.
>As if nothing happened at all.
>"Farewell."
>With everything said and done, you give the mental command to cut the connection to Discord.
>But nothing happens.
"Huh? What's going on?"
>Discord chuckles as he sees your confusion.
>"Did you forget, Anon? You're in my realm. I'm in control here."
>You blink.
"You are, but that control doesn't apply to me. You can't make me stay here!"
>His light amusement turns into full laughter now.
>"You're right. But I can decide how the process manifests itself in this place. It is my space, with my rules."
>You tilt your head.
"What..."
>You do not get the opportunity to ask the question, as the answer reveals itself right away.
>Because somehow, something stirs in the shadows.
>Or rather, it is the shadow cone itself that suddenly creates a current.
>A current which is strong enough to cleanly lift you off your feet.
"Whoa!"
>And this is not the end of it.
>Because as you lose your footing, you notice that you do not fall.
>For you hover and get carried by the current in what appears to be a circular pattern.
>No, not a circle.
>It is a spiral which slowly leads you upwards.
"What the hell are you up to now?"
>You get no response.
>After a short while, however, you notice that the speed of the current is increasing gradually.
>And not only that.
>You also hear a faint sound.
>The flow of water.

>Or at least what sounds like flowing water initially.
>But as you ascend, now almost at a breakneck pace, you realise that this is not fully accurate.
>This water is not flowing, it is flushing.
>Discord is literally flushing you out by sucking you into the origin point of the shadow cone.
"Oh, go fuck y..."
>You stop hearing your own voice as you get shot out of the scene.
>Only the faint traces of laughter keep ringing faintly in your mind.

And done. I know this one is relying very heavily on dialogue, yet that was basically unavoidable in this setup. As always, thoughts and comments are appreciated.
Also found the first derp here >>43074579. The line:
>"Consider it the payback for my missed trip to the woods."
Is obviously meant to be said by Anon, not Discord. I'll fix that in the paste.

I mean, if he stuck to schoolyard mischief and harmless pranks, it probably could work. But even with those limitations I'm sure he'd find a way to Rube Goldberg his way into causing some major incident.
Alternatively, the show does need a villain of the week and saying he can't do them the same way twice would probably curb some of the boredom.

That's definitely what he would try to achieve if he sees the chance to do so.
>saying he can't do them the same way twice would probably curb some of the boredom
Not only that, he would also have to act under a different name as well, since he is officially having a timeout as a statue right now. This would be a perfect argument for him to assume different roles as the bad guy of the day.
