Backends:
This is more of a one-click manager that you can install / run the other backends though. Easiest by far. Recommended to download Forge through it and use its built-in Civitai browser to download models with.
For models not through the in-built downloader just download and drop them in Stability_Matrix\Data\Models\* (lora folder if a lora, TextualInversion if embedding, stablediffusion if checkpoint...)
>reForge
https://github.com/Panchovix/stable-diffusion-webui-reForge
I would recommend installing this through Stability Matrix.
>ComfyUI

Has a learning curve but is extremely customizable and usually has the latest methods / papers implemented first.

NovelAI also does great pony: https://novelai.net
You could also use a service like civitai.
Models:
>Pony Diffusion V6 XL

>NoobAI-XL Great new alternative. Is closer to novelai than anything else. Really diverse yet coherent positioning / styles, knows artist tags.
https://civitai.com/models/833294/noobai-xl-nai-xl
>ZoinksNoob, a popular new model built off ChromaXL Mix, which itself was built off of NoobAI. Very, very close to NovelAI and arguably better at many things, it does ponies very well and has much less of a "burnt-in" default style than something like Pony Diffusion V6 does.

For MF, I won't be able to gen anything live since I sure as hell won't be hauling my rig across the Atlantic. My idea was a boring presentation on how to get quality beyond simple 1girl pics; or how to go beyond slop with advanced tools like "manual editing" and "image2image" and especially a combination of the two.

it looks meh, since all it does is adding unnecessary blurring/smudge in the shapes over the input image, it looks on par of pre v6 pony model.
Since you already have set up for it, you could easily already take a semi random blobs of colors and turn them into cute mare pics (and the use of some img2img to fix derped problems).

You're the dumbest gorilla nigger I've ever seen, you didn't even understand my post. How can you talk shit about the state of the board when you don't actively post here? Go back to the dicksword server you crawled out of.
>>
>>43058616
It's degenerate anthro slop though, but I guess I might as well. No bully plz.
https://litter.catbox.moe/up7svo.webp
As you can see I'm talking about the details around her pussy (and also her face a bit). Cranking up the diffusion strength changes the style too much, but keeping it lower results in this annoying artifacting.
>>
>>43058638
I do read the other threads from time to time, but then go back to my main threads when I see how abominable the quality in them is. Interacting means actively contributing to the thread. You know, by posting. You can see the state of the board without interacting with it. Maybe you're the gorilla nigger?
>>

You'll want to inpaint shit like that. i2i won't get it right.

In the future, you may want to go to /sdg/ on /trash/ if you have questions like that. You're far more likely to get an answer there.
And not just because it's b&thro. Some of the people there are just far better than anyone here. Don't let the flood of slop and shitty porn put you off; the competent lads don't post a whole lot since making a good piece takes time while you can spam raws endlessly.

The /aia/ thread has consistently featured some of the most creative and original content on the site for years now, even as we've weathered our fair share of persistent trolls, burnout among artists, and the occasional dip in momentum. It's utterly baffling—and frankly, unnecessary—to see someone dismissing it so cavalierly, especially when so many other threads across the site are either crumbling under their own weight, endlessly regurgitating the same tired memes and discussions, or suffering from a glaring lack of quality control. This isn't just my opinion; it's an observable fact for anyone who's spent time browsing.A thread's true value is indeed measured by the caliber of its posts and the substance of its content—whether that's sparking intelligent debates on the merits of AI-generated art versus traditional techniques, diving into cutting-edge technology breakdowns, or exploring deeper philosophical questions about creativity in the digital age. We've got all of that right here in this thread, and more, which keeps it vibrant and engaging despite the challenges. But resorting to crude racist insults and personal attacks without offering any meaningful contribution? That's a glaring red flag about your real intentions here. It reeks of someone who's just stirring the pot for kicks rather than adding value. If you're so quick to judge the "abominable" quality elsewhere, perhaps take a moment to reflect on your own input—or lack thereof. After all, lurking and observing the board's state doesn't require interaction, as you pointed out, but if you're going to post, at least make it count instead of dragging things down with needless toxicity.
>>43058644
I'm frowning upon porn because this is not yet another AIdegen art thread. Keep this on /trash/.
>>
>>43058644
If you just need a pose, you can use img2img + ControlNet.
>As you can see I'm talking about the details around her pussy (and also her face a bit).
You can fix defects using inpaint. Use the only masked option. Denoising strength 0.1 ~ 0.35. In the prompt, describe only the masked content. Personally, I prefer to edit everything manually in Photoshop and then use inpainting with low denoising strength, like 0.05 ~ 0.2.
>>
>>43058681
I think it's probably a bit too fast to get a good answer there, but I'll try that in the future. It's just hard to stomach all the furry garbage in there (which I know sounds hypocritical, but I really don't like any furry porn besides pony anthro, regular furry stuff doesn't appeal to me at all).

Photopea is a free online image editor that has most of what Photoshop has to offer. But it's online so that might not be what you need.
In any case, something like GIMP isn't even close to what even Windows 98 copies of Photoshop had to offer. If you need Photoshop and can't afford a subscription just get CS6, which is the last one that has a regular license. It has everything you might need.
If you're okay with sailing the seven seas just download the latest version and search for GenP. Or download some keygen for CS6, just don't register it in your Adobe account.

Any longer and you might be able to draw the rough outline to I2I by yourself (or maybe you already are). I still maintain traditional (or legacy, rather) artists could be at the forefront of this new technology, but they all decided to fight progress with "muh sovl" style arguments. I'm old enough to have seen the majority move from traditional to digital, so I already know what their future holds.

yeah, its best I could do, the original idea was to try to gen Rarity facing the camera and Aj peaking just behind behind her doing >dat ass face, however it keep messing up, and even doing a solo tag it keeps fucking up the picking carrot concept.
Pic related, ai model making image of Rarity getting railed (?) by huge carrot for some reason. Once it gened Ra doing iwtcird pose I knew this is the closes I could get to my idea so rest was brute forcing the image of carrot with tiresome Ra and AJ peaking from behind.

Here's the tags from that specific image, its bit of clausterfuck as I have a very chaotic method of just throwing whatever keywords and tags at the prompt and switching things around until I get something nice out of it.head bend to ground, (outdoor), score_9_up, feral, (zPDXL3:0.8),large carrot stuck in dirt, Rarity standing on top of garden, dragging green feathery leaves from ground with teeth, (Rarity bending head over and struggling to pick up veg of the dirt ground with her mouth:1), 2pony, beautiful, <lora:sinfulpie_PONY_synulls:1>, correct eyes shape, SoL, sinfulpie, sfw, low angle, solo
Negative prompt: clothes, hat, deformed iris, (signature:1), (overexposure, over saturation:1.2), human, smudge soft style, ZPDXLxxx-neg, eqg, equestria girls, 3d, deformed, mutated, monochrome, far away shot, deformed face, bad saturation, (deformed body), illustrator, vector art, badly drawn background
>>
>>43060532
>just throwing whatever keywords and tags at the prompt
Same. I usually cannot be assed to work out the order of the tags since it's just for stuff to goon to, at least until I start generating locally.
I'd move the score modifier to the start of the prompt though, unless there's a specific reason you chose to not put it there?
Btw, I noticed that putting tags like "monochrome" and "black and white" in the negative prompt make the image less dark. It might prevent accidental monochrome shots but does it have side effects. Well, all tags in the negative prompt do, really, since they also steer the result away from other concepts that a tag is aliased with. It's often interesting to see what the prompt you're using would look like with an empty negative prompt, and adjust accordingly.

An hour isn't enough to do a good piece but I guess you can cover topics faster than they are to do.

We should set up some Matrix server or something where we can discuss this kind of stuff off of 4chan and maybe create some wiki where more advanced techniques for local generation get dissected, focusing on pony in particular.

Beyond Slop (wip name subject to change)
Start with a description and image of the flood of slop porn on Twibooru or something to show how most of AI art that gets posted and seen is 1girl garbage.
>Show something people agree with to defuse tension.
But, we can do better. Show a few impressive, high quality, high effort complex pieces.
So, how do you make something like this and why doesn't almost anything bother?
Intro over, move on to talk about text2img and how it can only make error free high quality images of they're very simple and with just one character. But, how to do more?
Introduce img2img and how t2i is only really good for raws that you use as a base for edits and fixes. Basic blobbing or how to fix stuff like phantom signatures or Patreon logos and extra legs or fingers with an image editor and i2i. Stitching, or generating in pieces and cut-paste the parts in and "bake in" with i2i. Finish off with upscale and hires fix.
Inpainting. What is it. What can it do. What can't it do. Inpaint halos. But, most important, the manual edit - inpaint loop and how you can add almost anything with that combo.
I'd also love to cover sketch2img where you feed a sketch to img2img, but I'm not sure if anyone would agree to let me use their sketch for it.
Finally, as a recap, go through the workflow of one of the high effort images at start, phase by phase to show off what each tool does.
Each part would of course have lots of images as examples, including weird looking WIP pieces you never normally see.
And that's the rough basic structure for a presentation that I came up with. Feel free to call it shit or share thoughts and ideas.

The string of tags is, at least in NovaFurryXL:
(dark:1.2), black background, (monochrome:1.4), (vector:1.3), abstract, silhouette
Play with the weights of the tags to get closer to what you like. You may need to do a final round of detail removal by hand in an image editor in the end.
