I HAVE A QUESTION for #MLP fans!
Many have told me through the years that #mlpfim helped them make friends. I’ve been asked to point out episodes that help neurodiverse kids learn such social skills.
What episodes are the most helpful with learning to make and keep friends?

Not surprised but it still hurts.

Literally none of them work because you can only have friendship if both parties agree to it. Which doesn't seem to happen nowadays. In FiM it's always just one character being a douche while the others are already trying to be friends with that character. That's not helpful to kids who are in the latter position. And unfortunately none of them are in the former. Sure most of them are douches, but they're not generally surrounded by people who want to be friends to begin with. However if they were then the answer is probably one of the Discord episodes.

Who asked her?
inb4
>Hasbro hired her again to reboot the series for G6
>She is tasked to target the autists (bronies)
>She doesn't have a clue

Oh, she is talking about G4 again now?
Wasn't she supposed to be too heartbroken for that?
On the other hand, I don't look after what she says.
Does she talk to us again?
She supposedly rant on /co from time to time.

Sight...
Cranky's episode, and the Maud one too I suppose. They show both side of befriending a spazz/autist.

Said it the best. The lessons in FIM are worthless in the real world for neurodivergents since the far majority of NT people have no desire to being friends with ND people, rather a desire to avoid them or even actively make their lives worse.
NDs got fucked over by life hard and NTs then have the gall to say it's their own fault and they just need to "learn" to be more sociable.

When Pinkie And Dashie decide not to prank Fluttershy in Griffon The Brushoff, to spare Fluttershy's feelings.
It made me realize to take people's feeling seriously, outside of my own. Yes, I genuinely had to learn that experience, for some reason I spent my entire childhood utterly unable to conceptualize other people's wellbeing as something real.

If anything MLP ruined my social life since middle school. The moment I began watching the show I pretty much lost all of my childhood friendships in a few years time, then I got diagnosed with autism at 18 despite being in therapy since 12 and they either never noticed or my mom just didn't want to believe it. I don't even have online friends (unless I count you guys but that might be delusional), just me and my thoughts.

I don't think it's MLP ruining your social life, rather it's your own autistic social ineptitude that is ruining it. Unless you actually mentioned liking MLP to IRL people, then that makes sense.
Anyway, hope things get better for you, anon friend.

This has nothing to do with friendship directly, but the show was incredibly helpfull for me learning English. In school I didn't care much about it and had awful teachers for most years. I had massively fallen behind and only barely managed to hold on to passing grades. The show finally gave me a reason to care about learning English. There are so many things in my life that happened as a result of that, that my life would probably be drastically different if I hadn't gotten into the show.

She always knew, but she doesn't mean it with hatred. It's that "mother's love" kind of thing, where it's perfectly non-judgemental.

OK seriously, it's probably Party of One. I have some latent abandonment problems because most of my friends growing up would always either become inexplicably cold or move away suddenly, and I've basically never been someone's first choice to spend time with even among my closest circles, so (re) learning to trust in one's friends and not immediately assume the worst was important to me.

To be honest, there's not a lot of ponies that would represent the spectrum/special abled folk.
Like yeah there's Derpy hooves/muffins but outside of her, who else really displayed such behavior?
Scootaloo's flying disability was mostly glossed over, it wasn't really brought up.
And Lauren Faust was gone by season 3 so the episode where rainbow dash specifically learns things by flying and watching them carefully shouldn't count, like episodes/characters she worked on, or the entire series overall?
If it's the latter then there's the character uhhh stellar flare the make a wish OC to add on, Angel Heart too am I missing any pony else?

That's because nobody has any valid reasons to befriend an autist person, anon.
Autists are not friend material. Autists are the complete opposite of what one would want for a friend.

None.
Not only do I repel everyone around me for being fucking ugly, at conventions Im actively avoided so I just wear my headphones and pretend people want to be around me.
Cant apply a single lesson if after 10 years of going to at least 2 conventions a year no one wants to hear me speak or talk to me.
Im going to kill myself at the next convention I go to.
You wont know. I wont be found until the cleaners decide to come in after my check out time.

I'm sorry anon. This world is truly evil to anyone who doesn't meet the biological requirements to be considered a "worthwhile" human being to be around. I'd tell you to make a statement, but my post would probably get jeeted if I said much more. I want to say I hope you end up in Equestria but considering the world before me, and how it could only have been created by a hateful, spiteful being, I am pretty certain hell is going to await us in the end or something.
