Admit it, none of you watched this channel. You watched MLP through YouTube and Netflix.

Do any of you even remember what shows The Hub aired besides Littlest Pet Shop and Transformers Prime? I was there. I remember they had a show called Twisted Whiskers.

I watched FIM on minimini.

And Transformers Prime on Cartoon Network.

Dan Vs. is the obv one and then G.I. Joe as well. I think they had one or two more property based shows? I was already wrapping up HS so I didn't have time outside recording what I wanted to watch on DVR then watching it later with my little brother.

This.
Oldfags remember that every episode got leaked at least 3 days early, so if you waited for the episode to air it would already be spoiled.

It's not piracy if it never airs in my country.

If you think watching it on youtube makes you a newfag, then you're a newfag.
I watched it on youtube and justin.tv back in 2011. And you had to be quick because the Hasbro lawyers would constantly take down full episode uploads.

Yeah I admit it I have “pirated” the show since day 1.

I watched MLP on the colorless 720p Itunes rip of the show. Somehow I feel that it is more appropriate to have watched the show through illicit means than actually going through the official channel. I miss the the little Hub logo in the shortlived youtube uploads. I also think the desaturated look is more appealing.

I remember watching it on bronystate, I remember the gak commercials, secret but fun, and the new strawberry shortcake show that launched the same day as fim. I remember quickly going to youtube to find the episode if I missed the stream, because hasbro would nuke that shit. It's still wild that hasbro just has the entire show up on youtube in full HD, oh what we would give to have that back in the day.

I used to watch MLP, Littlest Pet Shop, Pound Puppies, a little of Dan Vs., the movie nights, and the old reruns, and play the flash games on the website. I miss the Hub. Nothing else was ever like it in the 2010s and discovery family never compared. Didn't help it that you had to pay for the premium channel packages just to get the Hub though.

I made sure to watch it on The Hub; I liked The Hub, it had soul. I also watched Dan Vs. and Pound Puppies and LPS all on The Hub, specifically because I was worried they would all be cancelled for not doing horse show numbers. And they were.
And then The Hub went bankrupt and became Discovery Family. You want to see what soul and soulless looks like? Check out The Hub promos versus the Discovery Family ones.

I'm not even kidding, this channel was actually designed for a younger audience than Nick, Disney, and CN. While the target demographic was 6 to 12 to appease advertisers and demographics, they wanted to emphasize kids as in kids 6 to 9 year olds and their families. It was made with younger audiences in mind compared to the more tween focused Nick, Disney, and Cartoon Network.

It was better for it too. Have you seen the cringe that is Nicktoons and their trying too hard promos and bumpers? CN was okay. A little weak on shows in my unpopular opinion. Same goes for Disney. Pony = Win.
