It's not my time and effort, it's that of every single creator out there making clothes/manes/animations. The popen has ~4-5 years of creator support having built up an ecosystem around it, a brand new avatar would be starting from scratch.
The reason OP was so successful is because the Magik was absolute dogshit (see just above your post) AND it was made by hmart who also launched it with a decent complement of launch-day available manes, tails, clothes and accessories, and even gave away a portion of them for free using the gift card thingy. Now that the OP is relatively well liked, another pony avatar getting creator support would be an uphill battle to say the least.

But in a vacuum and all things being equal, if there was a better avatar I would use it no questions asked, I don't have any particular attachments to the OP.

I would say more like she was stupidly insecure and believed everyone was out to get her and steal her content
she hated supporting her own products because providing updates meant she didn't get to make money, so many of the shit she made barely got support.
she also was insecure about negative reviews, and would have her following of simps false-flag reviews that even slightly called out anything negative about her shit so it would get taken down. I only know this because all of my reviews are gone and I didn't even give her BAD reviews, just not 5 stars. for the magik I gave a 4 star review and stated how it could use improvements, provided linked pictures on things that were wrong with it and areas that could use improvement, and at the end said that it was a decent avatar if you liked the style, but wasn't really for me. my review was gone in less than a month.
if you're ever curious about why all the magik pony base avatar listings have suspiciously high reviews, that's why, and by the time she left SL, no one was buying it anymore because the OP was around, so no one has left new reviews.

Friday afternoon I will host some Wheel of Popen at 2:00 PM SLT. After tomorrow's episode, it will gradually become more difficult for me to host as regularly as I have been. That means I might have to skip hosting at times, or try hosting at different times (maybe on the nights Top can't host Marebox) if I can't make it on Fridays. What matters is that Wheel isn't going away, it might just be sporadic at times the next few months.
