She's a lot less harsh than Dash is and way more thick-skinned and cheery, so there's a good chance for her to just laugh of all of the bullshit rather than finding it gross. Some understated or unnoticed parts of her personality are that she's really intelligent and just likes being random and silly because it's fun for her. Really adaptable, quick thinker - something that Twilight isn't actually kek. Super open minded, extremely friendly - if she's seeming ditzy and airheaded with how hard she's "ignoring" someone seeming strange or dangerous oftentimes she's genuinely just being kind because she knows they might be different.

Super positive, super loving towards others and the world around her (always manages to see the bright side and the wonder in everything), very thick skinned and able to shrug off anything by laughing at it, and actually pretty fearless too. She pretty commonly breaks out laughing at threats or anything scary, and while that LOOKS like she's being weird and stupid and unaware of being in danger, she's actually just that batshit positive that even danger is laughable to her.

Basically, really important lens to look at Pinkie with is that she's a secret genius and there's a deeper meaning to what she does. Was lonely and weird as a kid and that's where her abandonment issues in S1 come from from what I can gather, and it's also why she's seen to hate loneliness and be so open-minded of others. Her welcome to Ponyville parties are thrown for a reason - she doesn't want someone to show up and feel like they're completely alone.

That's a rundown on her character. I've made a full card for her in SillyTavern that's like 2k tokens long if you'd like to look at it, too. What're you thinking about for writing her and what do you have?

Pinkie's not exactly turbo mathematically booksmart like Twi. She knows a lot about a lot of things, and it's not surprising for Pinkie to know random extremely obscure shit (how to lead away the parasprites when even Zecora herself didn't know and the rest of Ponyville didn't even recognize them, and the legend of the mirror pool). She can be clumsy sometimes, but that's often due to her being so happy that she's a little ADHD and distracted by all of the wonderful things surrounding her rather than her just outright being stupid - she also values her clumsiness as a means of playing the class clown and making others laugh with accidental slapstick, as seen in the opening of A Friend in Deed with her making the twins laugh.

Twi's got rigid, studious book smarts while Pinkie has disorderly abstract intelligence. I personally would say she's smarter than Twi in a general sense of abstract and emotional thinking ability only because Twi is extremely hyperliteral and stiff, but Twi has a very sharp and well-honed scholarly intellect that Pinkie doesn't. Twilight crumples as soon as there's not an established method for dealing with something or her orderly plans and methods get disrupted, whereas Pinkie can adapt on the fly. Twi has higher peaks of smarts but I think Pinkie is more well-rounded, is what I mean I guess. Either that or Twi just has serious blind spots in her head that make her look a little outdone, haha.

She made that fuckin' batshit pinkiecopter thing in Griffon the Brush Off as well and it seems implied she also made her party cannon. Might be a bit of a secret engineer, potentially. While Pinkie is pretty smart and extremely capable, it's important to keep her grounded and relatable and "real" feeling lest she skyrocket into demigoddess Mary Sue territory when writing her in a fanfic or interacting with her in AI. She's still ultimately just a very happy and adaptable earth pony who's love for the world and energy has led her to experiment with a ton of things and learn lots about them as a result.

Still a work in progress, some things I still want to add (and almost no intros if you're going to actually use her), but take a look at her. The thing my card is aiming for is Pinkie being silly and playful but still very grounded and surprisingly wise and thoughtful - something most cards seem to miss in favor of just making her a goofy shitposty caricature I feel like.

Thank you very much! She's been my favorite pony for about 15 years now and her story and personality have been very important and inspiring parts of my life. Rainbow Dash is an absolutely excellent pony to look into and I'm sure you'll have fun. A lil unrelated but I can't just leave you hanging if there's stuff you don't know, but the Mane 6 all need their elements from others as much as they carry them themselves. They're examples of not only what someone looks like when they live by honesty, loyalty, or laughter, but examples of how powerfully that can change someone. When Pinkie's up against her abandonment issues and even she's having a hard time smiling, someone with her optimism and care would deeply resonate with her and help her get her chin back up, for example.

For Dash, she's dependable and loyal as it gets, but ultimately she's very insecure. Her coolness can often come from her thinking she's not worth much on her own, and tries to make up for it by being the badass friend people can brag about knowing (this also helps soothe her low self-esteem, minor narcissistic trait actually). Sonic Rainboom shows us her having performance anxiety about totally beefing it in front of her friends, but her actual true loyal heart is what comes through when saving Rarity and leads her to succeeding, and Mysterious Mare Do Well (I know) has that scene with her sitting on the cloud all by herself. She remarks after the end of her monologue to herself, simply, "I hate being alone". Dash needs a loyal friend who can stick by her no matter what through all of her rough edges and insecurity - someone like that would be life-changing for her and she'd basically be glued to their side for the rest of her life if she found someone like that.

That's basically the core of her and the foundation of getting Dash, I think. I wish you lots of enjoyment in figuring her out more! She's a cool pony for sure.

Yeah. I figured it was the perfect project to test this "vibecoding" thing. It took Opus 4.6 less than 15 minutes and $5 worth of API thanks to caching. Pretty good actually. There was a single noticeable bug and it was able to fix it itself in a couple minutes.
I haven't taken the time to review the code so I can't guarantee it would work in anything but my system, so I haven't made a git or anything either. I also haven't explored all features either, I have to do that to check for any bugs there.

it's so weird that we live in the era where you can tell the computer to make something and it'll just do it. i gave my pony a prettier typeface and made it so that the text fades out instead of abruptly disappearing, which pleases me.

Alright, I downloaded it but it does note it uses Cuda stuff. If anyone has any ideas for using AMD with it I'd appreciate it - that being said, my GPU is a 6700xt and has only ever been utter dogshit at AI as ROCm wasn't very good at supporting it in the past. I may just wait until I get better hardware, kek.

make sure it has a shadow or outline or such else it'll not be very visible on white backgrounds. mine also makes a little type-y noise as the characters write themselves out

since we're on the topic of aesthetics, i noticed that sometimes ull click a pony and it'll change their center point? like you click once and the pony model shifts in such a way that ur mouse isn't on them anymore. especially egregious for certain ponies/motions. makes it very hard to double-click them as to talk! fixing this would be wonderful.
