Dragons are pony world mexicans: Originally they were trying to make Spike's catchphrase "Holy Guacamole" and he really loved mustaches, also ponies are afraid of dragons as if they're cartel groups, to the point they have barely any info about them. I had a dream a nightmare really that was kinda like Banned From Equestria except if it were multiplayer and I was a donkey creature looking kinda like Baba Looey here but without the hat. I felt so crestfallen because in this dream I ended up in Equestria with other anons but I drew the short stick and was a fucking donkey not a pony nor a griffin nah a fucking donkey. The other anons laughed at me and called me slurs. I tried making a mule but the ponies would reject me too. The other anons all buff stallions and griffons and a fucking dragon with full harem of ponies were shitting all over me. I also walked on my hind legs because that's what I'm used to in real life so that was the logic my dream worked under hence pic rel. I was so dead set on getting one of the mane six to date me I didn't clock onto the fact that Ponyvile made no sense. The ponies would talk in the background but it was like garbled mess and places and shops would be copy-pasted everywhere and there was no sense of direction and yet magically I would end up where I wanted to be somehow. I just had a home for seemingly no reason or context. It's a dream and in my dreams I tend to ignore theses types of things until a certain point. Anyways I'll just tell you ending. I tried dating Fluttershy as the other ponies were either already taken by another anon or shat all over me. So we're having a tea party and I compliment her for being so kind and she giggles at me telling me that's literally her Element of Harmony but that she could understand why an animal like me wouldn't catch onto that. I ask for a kiss and she gets all wide eyed telling me she's really into beastiality. At this point I'm kinda just exhausted and the animals in the cottage kept shifting and sorta teleporting around making my head hurt so I go to leave. She calls out to me and turn around to face her. She says "I'm sorry." Without her mouth moving and then she closes her eyes. I feel a kiss despite me being at the door while she's still at the table. That's when I woke up feeling a strong sense of disappointment.

The realization that most people who consume art are not artists themselves, and therefore lack the eye to appreciate it. Difference of taste, I suppose. Hearts and Hooves Day is my favorite episode. It's so wacky and unhinged. Best jokes in the show imo, it gave a lot of memes and Button Mash.The song? It's alright, not what comes to mind when I think of the episode. The only song I think that carries an episode is Babs Seed. I can definitely see your point of the CMC being dumbed down for an episode like Stare Master. I feel like the only member that gets routinely shafted in CMC group episodes is Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle is usually great in them and fills her role as the troublemaker, and Apple Bloom as the somewhat voice of reason. I should mention that I'm not accounting for later seasons where they all kind of mesh into the exact same personality.

If I had to add an asterisk to this statement though, I'd say that giving them their Cutie marks was a mistake. They either never should have done it, or they should have done it during one of the very last seasons.

I don't hate the idea they eventually came up with, even though they never did anything interesting with their "same but different" cutie marks, but a lot of the CMC's best episodes were about them trying to find their marks in the first place; I think them not having cutie marks made them more interesting and relatable characters. And it left them open to a lot more episode ideas, too, rather than just sticking to them having the motivation of "we have our marks, so now we're going to help every pony else find their marks too!" that they stick to after S5; all of the future stories they eventually did with the CMC still could have been done even if they had always stayed blank flanks iirc. (maybe Marks and Recreation wouldn't work, but it could have easily been rewritten too.)

So in my dream, I was watching a mare (in their POV) who while on her way around the market stalls suddenly encounters this mysterious mare who gives her 6 changeling eggs (6 days if I recall as one hatches each day) and tells her that she cannot raise them at this time of uncertainly (so I presume my dream had it that she's a disguised changeling queen) and then says that if she successfully then she would receive a great power as a reward as she goes back into the darkness (presuming the scene is in a alley). The mare decides to accept this quest and hides them in her basket. But now when she continues to walk around the market she feels like she's being stalked and watched (by the SMILE agency) and decides to leave but not just before encountering a abandoned basket containing a very rare in demand herb which is worth a lot of bits. She of course takes it and sells it and goes to the nearest hotel as she's not confident in going back to her actual home with the mysterious ponies watching her and goes to sleep.

Next day, the first changeling egg hatches which gives the mare a disgusted face wondering if that figure she met was even a pony at all as the changeling foal disguises as a pony filly and walks to the hotel window and points at the festival happening in this town/city (I think this place in my dreams is a mixture of Manehattan and Ponyville) she goes there and brings the disguised 'ling as a filly and goes on a couple of rides. This is if I remember when the actual first enemy encounter battle happens (The battle system is basically almost like Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2) which a bunch of smile agents ambush her near a more empty part of the festival and demands her to surrender the changeling eggs or you'll bring terror around Ponyville (Giving the changeling eggs and the ling gives a ending) but the mare says no as she doesn't break promises and a battle breaks out in which she wins. Now there are normal enemy encounters with the agency around the festival as the 'ling demands to see the main attraction with Trixie's magic show. The mare goes there successfully after a mini boss encounter with a strong pony agent and watches the show as Trixie does her magic show and decides to do a magic trick from a menacing book she had just bought. As she does it, monsters unleash from the book with the main boss of the first day being some giant pony demon (looking like some Fear and Hunger enemy) (1/2)

(2/2) After successfully defeating the boss for the first day, the mare and the disguised 'ling foal as a filly retreats back to the hotel avoiding or battling the unleashed monsters on the streets while the SMILE agents focus instead of attacking the monsters instead of you. The mare goes to sleep and the second day happens.

(I'm beginning to forget more about what happened in the dream on the second day so it will be less detailed)
When the second day starts the second changeling egg hatches and she begins to feel that she is being spied on again in her hotel room. She looks over and sees a opened window at the next building over which is a building which hosts game shows which she determines is where the spying is coming from and decides to join the current game show so during breaks she can explore the upper parts of the building to encounter this mysterious spy pony watching her. As she goes out she can see the streets are much more emptier but still contains the sprinkle of normal ponies, smile agents and monsters as it has largely calmed down from hours ago as elite smile agents were sent to contain it all. She rushes to the Game Show Building and successfully applies to do the gameshow. (I forgot much stuff about what happens in the gameshow sadly). During a break she sneaks out of the break room and bashes open a door leading to the upper rooms. Turns out there are quite a few monsters hiding in the upper levels which she defeats. As she's half way to the room with the spy who's been watching her she's called back as the game show continues again and backtracks. As she does that and encounters a mini-boss as a monster breaks from the ceiling and leaves everyone sprawling away she quickly rush to the room before smile agents come to clean it only to find the room is... empty? But as soon as she turns around the spy sneakly attacks her from behind as she barely avoids it thanks to one of the disguised lings pushing her away from impact as a battle begins. After defeating the spy she rushes back to the hotel to plan to move away from the unsafe hotel.

On the third day, it hatches but it turns out the changeling inside that egg is DEAD. The mare is in shock and moments later, elite smile agents ambush you and kidnap you. (This is where the dream ended for me but I presume you break out with the two foal 'lings help.)

It was a interesting dream so I had to write it up because most of my dreams are usually nothing noteworthy.
