When the "new Linkin Park" release was still pretty new, maybe a week old, me and my friends were sitting in the car listening to some other stuff when the topic turned to the band's recent reformation. We decided to switch what we were listening to, and listen to the new song. We got to about the second line of lyrics before we were frowning. By the chorus, we were wincing. Heard an "oof". It really just isn't the same. Proof once again that eye candy does not replace talent or soul.
