that was an early recording of Dino's from not long after he started. in addition Kitty Kallen covered the song during her exile in Siberia years when nobody cared about her. to be honest "Choo 'n Gum" was a pretty puerile, childish song that was ok for Teresa Brewer since she was only 18 and just a kid when she recorded it but but didn't "fit" those older, more adult singers.
