Most people don't write a single good song in their entire lives. A few months is nothing.
But you'll probably have to write some shitty ones to arrive at another good one. Only patience and practice will get you there.

I've been working on one song for over 20 years. It's difficult, especially when you accidentally rip off other artists without realizing it. This is the worst feeling to hear another melody that you thought you created. There's a verse in Ecclesiastes about nothing being new being under the sun. The permutations are finite as time moves on and eventually there will be no new music to create.
