I've been a fan of them for a long time and recently I've been re-listening to their discography. Their run of albums from Meet The Residents to The Commercial Album has got to be one of the best and most groundbreaking run of albums ever. Each album is so distinct and boundary pushing, The Residents are one of the only bands whose music sounds genuinely otherworldly to me, it sounds like if an alien heard snippets of popular music and tried to recreate it from memory.
