I've heard these things are insanely unreliable. Its crazy because Ford has basically proven you can make a reliable v6 TT in a pickup truck if you don't cheap out of the manufacturing. The 3.5 ecoboost in the F150s I've heard basically nothing but good things about with many over 300k miles now with only minor work done. Its pretty shocking to see Toyota fall behind this much on reliability.

I think that sentiment is really long gone, every normie has some big ass SUV and farmers/tradies have those Chevys and Rams. The only people in the old utes are bogans that are attached to old aussie culture and don't want to buy anything non-Australian (ironic since Holdens was a GM company and most of them were based off Opels anyway).
