I currently own a fiesta zetec 2007. Its my first car but next year when I get my second NCB i want to upgrade to a titanium model. I was thinking this or an ST line model, but I chose the titanium because its designed more for comfort and I do a lot of driving. Im willing to spend at least £5000 on it and Im wondering if this is too much to pay for a second car and if the titanium is the right model or should I go for a different make?

It's entirely personal preference, but the jump from a Mk 6 to a Mk 7 is pretty big, in my opinion, and certainly worth it if you want a few creature comforts. That being said, 5 grand is waaaaaayyyyy too much money for a non-ST Fiesta; you can pick up a decent Titanium for around half that. Obviously I haven't seen this thing in person, but this one, for example, seems pretty tidy upon first glance, and is basically 2 grand.

My brother bought a pretty damn nice 13 plate Titanium for £500 off a family friend, and I was quite impressed at how much nicer it was compared to my Mum's Fusion (Basically a Zetec Fiesta on stilts).

100,000 miles is perfectly reasonable. If a car has been well looked after and regularly serviced, mileage is somewhat irrelevant until you're around the 300,000 mark, and even then I wouldn't be that worried providing the history was there. I'd rather have a car at 150,000 miles with a full service history than a car at 60,000 with none. In some cases, a lower mileage can indicate that the car didn't move much, and / or it was probably used for very short journeys, both of which are arguably worse than motorway miles.

Yes, you made this thread before and didn’t like the answers you got then so you’ve made it again. Stick with what you have because otherwise you’re another FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS into a car that is functionally identical to the one you currently own

What about buying a gen 3 focus, even just a lower/mid spec? I'd imagine value, running costs and insurance would be about the same, but would have better sound insulation and dampening for comfort over distances.
