How come only automatic drivers keep confusing the brake pedals?
this never happens in manuals.
Is there a name for this condition?

auto drivers sometimes get used to driving with both feets. so when they panic they press both. manual drivers always drive with both feets but then one foot is always on the clutch so if they brainfart in panic they only redline the engine their left foot is still on the clutch so atleast they will coast down into problems not accelerate into it.
theoreticly any car should be able to stop its own engine at full power using the brakes so the auto example shouldnt happend, but people drive with shit brakes and it does happend.

Automatic drivers scientifically have less brain cells than manual drivers so it's actually normal for them to get overwhelmed with more than 1 option, why do you think they want the car to drive itself/look out for hazards for them.
I welcome the neurodivergent cagies, they'll make for good marks.

Typical retard take that shows youre a fucking retard.
Ive never "accidentally" slammed on the brake when I went to shift gear- which is exactly what youre claiming- that auto "2 foot" drivers cant keep track of what their feet are doing.
The reality is that 90% of the time its the elderly that can't even remember their own name (other 10% being female and/or asian).

You've never read an accident report.
You've never worked a crash scene.
As others have pointed out, the front brakes are enough to stop a vehicle under full throttle.
Your fantasy of someone driving through a Walmart entrance "because they panicked and mashed both pedals" breaks the laws of physics.
But you're such a fucking moron you "believe it to be true".
Gtfo, dipshit.

Yeah, shit for brains doesnt know how to use the machine she's in control of
I sincerely believe if you dont know how to drive a manual gearbox, buy a bike, take the bus, its not that bad, just stay off the road

Because some of them use two feet to drive. One foot for the brake and one for the throttle. As soon as you have to manage 3 pedals, blend throttle with clutch and operate a gear lever it filters out retarded pedal mashers that drive through store fonts. Same thing with snow and ice driving. Only autotragic retards with no concept of engine braking and keeping wheels turning do vid rel. Never relax around them.

What happens is that some automatic drivers use both feet to operate the pedals with the right for gas and the left for brake. People have a foot dominance like they do for hands. Its a thing. Go run down a hallway and slide on socks. The foot you place in front when sliding is your dominate foot. You place your weight on this foot when you need to balance or brace your body and this is the right foot for most. This is also the same foot that is used to brace yourself in a panic or flight or fight response. This is why you see two feet auto drivers that plow through a wall approach the wall like they are surprised by it then suddenly lurch forward and plow through with WOT often roasting the tires while pinned to an interior wall. They were spooked and their reaction was to brace themselves with the right foot which pinned the throttle to the floor.

That is literally what caused the prius "unintentional acceleration" incidents. The sping would fly out on their gay drive by wire throttle and the weight of the pedal would make it go WOT and because normgroids only understand "brake to make bad thing stop" like >>28859211 they would stand on the brake while calling 911 while the brakes cooked and failed. There's 911 call audio of it and and the retarded woman was like "huh?" when she was told to put the car in neutral. She was too stupid to know what neutral was and a police officer haf to run alongside the car and reach in to turn thr ignition off. Others weren't so lucky and died. Normal diggers only understand PRD and brake to stop. Anything beyond that and they are baffled.

my sister-in-law backed into a parked car in a parking lot in my wife's car and explained to me she didn't step on the brake because she didn't know which was which in that moment.
In 10 years there will be a class of license that only allows women to operate vehicles with FSD

Nah, that was just Americans hitting the gas when starting an automatic car. Nobody will ever admit that.
Us stick drivers are taught to wiggle the stick to prove it is out of gear then press the clutch and then pray to thebabyjesus that is starts.
>>
>>
When learning to drive stick in my buddy's car I accidentally put my foot too far over and tried to press the clutch as if it were the brake and ended up slamming his car onto a brick wall when going to park. Luckily it was low speed, probably 5-7 mph, so it didn't deploy the airbags or really even cause any damage surprisingly. I was still mortified and refused to drive his car again until I got my own and actually learned stick. I don't remember why I didn't have my left foot over the clutch at that moment.

So before he cooked the brakes he was able to hold back a 1,200hp engine with some ancient boomer wilwoods while driving around for an hour?
Thanks for proving my point.

It literally happened you gay retard. There are full police reports of prius with cooked brakes grinding along the highway in the shoulder in a 911 call. The drive by wire fake and gay throttle would fail in WOT when the return spring falls out and auto tragic normgroids like the boomer in don't know what neutral is so that just apply brake to slow down while at WOT in gear and cook their brakes.

So weird how the only example you can give is one specific model that had a physical fault and it wasnt due to drivers using 2 feet.
It's like the OP issue doesnt exist and you are trying to use a psedo-related factory defect as evidence because you have nothing else....

Actually it's locations of the pedals and lack of familiarity with the car.
I've actually done the unintended acceleration bit. Twice. I was working as a mechanic so I was in and out of different cars all day long and usually just sitting in the car sloppily since I was just moving it inside or back out. Hopped back in an MN12 Thunderbird to drive it back out, dropped it in gear and as it idled forward I stepped on the brake in case of a pedestrian crossing the bay. The car launched forward with squealing tires, me going WTF! and pushing the brake harder with no response so I hit the key off and rolled to a stop about 75 feet out. This wasn't long after the Audi 5000
About a month later another MN12 is in the shop and I go to pull it out but this time I'd changed my pattern to be on the brake before putting it in gear so this time all I got was an engine rev and another WTF! Booster vacuum Leak?! and then keyed up that I was on the accelerator pedal instead of the brake.
Why that was didn't become clear until I owned an MN12 some years later. The cars have a huge transmission tunnel so the pedals are shifted left which ends up with the accelerator being about where the brake is in relation to the seating position on other cars. Not a problem if you're used to it. The stats on unintended acceleration show that the vast majority of cases have been by people that had the car less than 1500 miles.

You don't stand on the brake and skid out of control on snow and ice. The last thing you want is to lock the wheels up and yes you can still do that with ABS. If you have ever driven down an icy hill even once (you havent) you would know this. You get off the brakes and downshift to slow while maintaining control of the vehicle by keeping all 4 wheels turning to regain steering and vehicle control. Once control is regained you can pump the brakes to test the bite between the road road and tires hopefully providing additional braking. If not keep down shifting until you reach the desired speed.
tl;dr You have to be 18 to post here.

>he thinks the elderly driving through walls is due to left foot braking.
Your argument fell apart and now youre just grasping at straws.
Those are people who shouldnt be on the road at all. They would have crashed regardless of what they were driving.
Here's a good one for you-
Bicycles are typically right hand lever rear brake, left lever front brake.
Motorcycles are right lever front brake, left lever clutch.
Do you think that people who ride mountain bikes and dirt bikes get confused when they switch?

They are using to feet to drive and will mash the wrong pedal or hit both and then let off the wrong one and plow through a wall. A lot of Chinese people drive cars this was since they don't know any better and only got cars relatively recently. It's also why there are so many videos of Chinese plowing through walls or just going wood open throttle down the road and crash. They confuse the pedals using two feet to drive an automatic.

>will mash the wrong pedal or hit both and then let off the wrong one and plow through a wall
Again. Thats not a 2 pedal issue. Thats a trained monkey with a license issue. Youre talking about the same people who cook with gutter oil and electrocute themselves daily. Thats like using China as an example to ban overhead power lines because theyre dangerous.

Also if you watch some of these videos of a person driving through a store front with audio you can see the car stop with the engine reving and then lurch forward and plow though a wall when they let off the brake. It looks incredibly bizarre like it's intentional but they are just retards using two feet to drive an autotragic and having a brain fart

I've accidentally brake checked a girl I was dating because I mixed up the pedals in her automatic car. Went to put the clutch in as we came to a red light and the edge of my left foot found the edge of the brake pedal. Damn near did a stoppie in her Honda.

I actually hate this retarded bullshit. 100% of people who refer back to this post as a gotcha are terminal midwits who are only just barely enough above average to pretend like they can actually use their brains. Calling people only 10-15 points below them 'genuinely low IQ'
