Someone brown with a Micra did a decent job last night, he even checked my age.

Can you make 6 figures a year doing doordash/ food delivery?
>>
>>28860407
If you don't put the decimal place in.
>>
>>28860351
probably some used 150-200cc japanese scooter. that or an e-bike. not sure there’s any use for an honest to god moped in current year, except as a toy.

If you mean gross then yes.

But you'll get text almost a quarter of all the money you make
>>

Just got one of these.
1978 single speed, will be good to go as soon as I can figure out what DPO did to the light wiring.
>>
>>28860351
that's a scooter not a moped
>>28860357
that's a noped not a moped, I used to have one of those though

To answer OP, all mopeds suck for doing that, but any one of them could be modified to be ok at best, I put collapsable side storage on

Why are you on the auto enthusiast board? You're not an enthusiast. You're desperate.

Can you still use a paperclip to bypass the key? I remember back in the 90s you could pry open the front panel, unclip a connector attached to the ingnition, and then hole 1 - hole 6 a paperclip and have lights, turn signal, horn, etc.

NTA but go back to Mr Goldbergs office you cuck, and don't be late! OP is a real enthusiast that rides for a living, you are just a casual so keep your mouth shut.

It is just puberty, anon. It happens to every young bike when it hits a certain age.

Yes, but you need to put in the hours.

>>28860351
Depends.

If working in the inner city then an electric bicycle is best.
If working in the inner suburbs then a 150-200cc scooter is best.
If in the outer suburbs then a 300cc maxiscooter is your best option.
If you're in a rural area then good luck getting any orders to deliver.

it's 6 figures but damn, 75 hours a week every week to make it happen

Don't forget your required commercial use vehicle insurance. If you are in an accident while doing gig work insurance will deny your claim if you have only personal use.
>>28863035
I have never understood it.
I like driving, I like warm food. Why pay more?
If I'm drunk I just cook stuff myself, I have an oven in my bedroom lol.

First, that's a scooter. MoPEDs have PEDals.
Second, the Honda SuperCub C125A is ideal. Less CCs and you will barely keep up with 45MPH traffic, unless you're a 90lb woman. Also $2/100mi in gas, $12 oil changes (DIY ez pz), it costs $3k used and should last 50k-100k miles.
>>28860407
Probably depends on your market and maybe your rating with them. I started a couple weeks ago and barely did minimum wage, but the last couple days I managed about $17/hr. This is in Daytona Beach though, so every delivery is 30-45 mins of travel. You might make a lot more in a big coastal metropolis like NY or LA.

Do you eat in your car like a filthy hobo? Or do you take the food home and eat like a civilised person?

If you're taking your food home to eat it, like you should, then you're effectively just delivering your own food. I can deliver it faster and keep it hotter with my insulated heat bag. I can slice through traffic on my motorcycle and have your food delivered in half the time it took you to deliver it in your car. Your food will be fresher and hotter and it would've only cost you about three bux more. About the same you used in fuel to deliver your own food.
>>
delivering your own food is like puling on your own dick. it's so much better when someone else does it.

Damn, you're hustling. My last 2wk check was 97.7 hours and $2679 take home
>>
>>28863983
I had an Uber once in Chicago (February blizzard) that was using a jeep trailhawk because without ubering he couldn't afford the payment
>>
>>28863380
I take the food home and eat it. But I only get takeout or fast food maybe once a month. I go to the grocery store and cook food (meat and greens mostly) on the stovetop or oven.
You could not beat me on your bike because I'm way out in the woods where there's no traffic anyway. I'll redline that shit on home. Did I mention I like driving? Why would I pay not to drive?
