Why do people park in EV charging spots? My local mall and supermarket had invested in dedicated superchargers that I can’t use 90% of the time because some asshole in a shitbox doesn’t wanna park a little bit further and walk fifty extra steps.
Not my picture, but they sometimes take out the cord and place it either ontop of their hoods or underneath the engine bay.

Supermarkets were retarded by sometimes making some of the best (nearest) parking spaces EV chargers. I understand, they first saw it as some privileged spot and cable lengths are probably shorter), but I don't care if a have to walk a bit further if I want to charge while shopping (not something I do every day).
But they mostly seem to have learned their lesson.

It's all fun and games until you get towed. Remember that parking lots are privately owned property and the owners can actually get you straight up trespassed if they want. You really want to be banned for life from your favorite shop because you thought it would be funny to park a little closer to the front door?

Sucks that you have to rely on chargers being everywhere to get around in your "superior" EV meanwhile I have no such worry in my gas vehicle with a gas station on every corner and can have a full tank in less than 5 minutes.

No one does but they could. You just never know, so is it really worth the risk? You could park in one some day and turns out the property owner is full blown bleeding heart liberal musk loving tranny and you parked where they wanted to park, now your shit is banned and the cops are called and not only can you not legally enter the store you went to in the first place, you can't even set foot on the property at all anymore, if it's like a strip mall or complex or whatever. "It won't happen to me!" until it does.

Not only is that not a strawman argument, it's actually the exact opposite of a fallacy completely. It's called "testing consistency" and it's the oldest form of logical reasoning in written human history. In order to test if the logic is consistent, it must be applied to other situations. If it's only ever applicable in one specific situation then it's not consistent and therefore not logical.

Nigga thinks using a "free gas" parking spot is an argument.

>work installed two charge spots in our already crowded car park
>one electric/hybrid car parked on a good day
>none of them use the chargers
what a waste
