i haven't heard of the B9 having any of those issues to any significant degree. are you thinking of some older audis like the B5s?

the plastics are fine, i've dealt with audis quite a bit and the plastics are generally the parts that break the least. turbos, timing chains, piston rings, balance shafts, all more likely to break than the composite stuff. OP's car is newer anyway and the A5s don't get too hot under the hood.

Wasn't that a common issue in more or less all Audis at one point in 2010s? Idk I don't give a shit about german cars, I just remember my coworker's brand new Audi getting the good old mixed oil and coolant condition at some point, and they swapped the whole engine as a result.

yeah it was a huge issue in the gen 2 ea888 engines. especially in the early CAEB motors in the pre-facelift B8s. class action lawsuits and everything. that hasn't presented itself in the gen 3 motors though so no reason to worry about it any more.

Honestly a pretty refined machine desu. Engine is good and trans is good. The electronics are good. Double bones up front and multi link rear.
The only real thing is the bushings will wear but you can get the 034 poly bushing suspension when that happens and have a very good handling car with excellent traction and light weight. The engine is good for 400hp ez if you want it. And it looks great.
