they took away two parking spots, that are now both unused, for EV only parking on a very crowded street in the city with minimal parking and these sports were otherwise used 100% of the time
im literally a communist but do the performative woke leftist subtype think that the environmental toll of mining the minerals and producing the batteries that power EVs is somehow less than a lifetime of gas burning? They just see them as like, free energy.

glue the hybrid synergy drive badge onto your car and make a fake port for the charger, ez

well, it isn't just EV only
it's specifically reserved for actively CHARGING evs which makes sense
>but do the performative woke leftist subtype think that the environmental toll of mining the minerals and producing the batteries that power EVs is somehow less than a lifetime of gas burning?
why are you strawmanning so hard
some people just like EV's and find they fit their use case
who are you to decide what someone purchases?
also
>paid parking regulations apply
so this is some private parking area and those spots are owned by someone who installed chargers
I guess a self proclaimed communist would have serious problems with being able to comprehend property ownership

no, these are city public parking spaces, I guess its just zoned and you have to pay hourly
private property is genuinely retarded humans used to share caves and never think about that stuff
>well, it isn't just EV only
the wording is kinda ambiguous but you can't park a non-charging vehicle there for sure

EVs would be ideal for dense urban environments where air pollution per capita matters more and most drivers only go a short distance each day.
but your average city dweller doesn't have a garage to charge at home, so you need some alternative infrastructure to make them easy to own.
I don't give a shit about global warming or non renewable energy or whatever, but air pollution is a real problem and there's no good reason 90% of urban econoboxes need to produce smoke

they need to tear down a bunch of houses and apartment buildings and physically double the width of the streets so you can have parking AND bike lanes or else this is just rearranging deck chairs on the titanic
