Louis Rossman just released a video about how Carvana failed to recognize a crashed+repaired car as crashed, sold it as clean, and gave the buyer the corporate runaround while arguing that the shipping fee was not refundable.
So I know why this thread was made.
In fairness to Carvana, you can't expect every boots on the ground employee to be able to figure out that a car's been unreported crashed if it is at least visually put together. But the rest of it is fuckstick cockboy bullshit.
And again in fairness to Carvana, the complainant customer did not elevate the issue of the crash damage and stated condition of sale hard enough.
>inb4 how u kno it crash?
Because even an official Merc dealer said "yeah it's obvious that this 2025 MY vehicle has been mangled and slapped back together"

Imagine paying a good bit of money to buy a car sight unseen, what the fuck is wrong with people? and then they complain about "oh this is worn, I didn't know it was this bla blah blah", motherfucker you should be looking over your shit, Cars pretty much the most expensive purchase we make in our lives because we're too cooked to buy a house, and yet people just walk into an expensive purchase blindly, hoping it works out.

So? a lot of states have laws in place where in where you can return a car in a certain period plus re-stocking fee, but it's still a waste of time when you could just use your fucking eyes to make the the car isn't worn out, or negotiate the price on stuff it will need and be happy, instead of treating this like some sort of slot machine, where one pull is you getting a good car, and another pull is you having a fucking headache.

Its for people who actually don't waste their time. They deliver the car to your driveway. If you don't like them you call them and they take it back. If you do, you can have your old car also taken away. It also works both ways, they don't inspect your car. I sold a rusted to shit Saab 9-5 to carvana for 5k. in 2019.
