Thoughts on South Korean cars? Good or bad?
Apparently the Hyundai i30 N is good

My papa paid 16000€ for a 2014 Kia Sportage with Diesel engine in summer last year. How much did he get scammed? Is the car at least reliable and he won't have further costs?

I like my Kia Niro. It was relatively cheap to buy, comfortable to use and own and has good features and functionality. Compared to my previous Volkswagen, this one has given me zero issues thus far and just werks all the time every time.

I don't trust them
apparently they have good warranties but my company car is a 2021 that had started burning oil bad by 50k miles, like by the quart bad
it was like pulling teeth to get hyundai to replace the engine under warranty which needed to happen because the techs couldn't figure out why it was happening
got the new one in and am getting intermittent codes from a bunch of different sensors

Aerodynamics. It's one of the most efficient EVs.

I'm sure they could get nearly the aero with a lot more practical space.

My Kia Sportage is a bit after 2020, am I doomed?

Holy shit?! I was literally losing sleep over my papa getting scammed, especially because he got scammed twice in the past with used cars that turned out to be money pits (a fr*nch car where the seller was hiding how literally everything was wrong with it and a VW that was fine in the beginning but then started having problems every few months).

I tried Hyundai . Had a 2007 Sonata V6 that lasted over 350k miles. That made me decide to buy another one. It was a 2016 Elantra GT. The hatchback one. It went over 125k miles and just died. I've since gone back to Honda

>didn't get the GT turbo
swing and a miss
also the whole point of hoonkias is getting the newest one you can afford the Elantra GT is a decade old design at this point. Every new generation they improve, unlike Honda who has stagnated.

Yeah the older models GT lines are made to last.
Really anything from KIA before 2020 is good and not chink tier shit.
>french car
Even french don't buy those.
>VW
Which car and model?
Those are pretty decent usually.

Yeah this is the same before rebrand.

um no
the xpro prestige has some unique features like a wired-up front windshield defroster and skid plates as well as the top-trim features of the SX Prestige (premium sound, ventilated seats). The newest ones have a head up display and LED interior lighting but mine is used and doesn't have those.

I think I'm at like 80k miles. I intend to run it into the ground, I'm just saying I think the newest Kias are way better than they were even 10 years ago. They put a lot of effort in.
