Splash guards are pointless unless youre driving places where rocks n shit is likely often flicking up. If the cars low clearance i doubt you are.

Memory of me hacking off the remains of my splash guard on the side of the road with the only tool available (a shovel) after a badger got stuck in it.

Pieces of shit held in with hard to reinstall clips that break.
Actually I'm just pissed with the clips they use these days instead of bolts.

If it's broken you should take it off.

If it's not too expensive I'd personally replace it, but you're right in that it's not necessary.

Get a metal one so the next time the clubs close and you blast a jaywalking nigger they don’t take your oil filter out, preventing you from fleeing the scene

no, you're wrong. it's also important for airflow & cooling.

Yes. Negative pressure is extremely important in an angine bay due to how restrictive the radiator(s) and condenser usually is. Relying on postive (drag) pressure against the grill is no bueno.

On a ICE, most connectors are mid level or above the engine block.
On a BEV, this isn't the case, and there is a real risk of connectors getting sand blasted.
