My K5 had one in the dash that could hold butts and ashes for a carton+ of smokes for the driver, a small one in the passenger door, and two more in the back for passengers. I still kick myself for selling it, despite all the frame rust and failing wiring harness.

12V sockets are useful when they can handle 15Amps like most cars. But my motorbike's 12V socket can only handle up to 5A which makes it useless for running tools like a compressor which draws 13Amps.
