Why shouldn't I just buy a SRT-8 300c Touring, lop off the front end and graft a Chally front?
You get the cool, unique, retro look of a Challenger, the practicality of an estate and the conversion work from wrong hand drive already done for myself.

OP wanted reasons why he shouldn't, and I gave them. Emotional value is irrelevant here. I shouldn't have put 5,000 of my money into my 2,000 sheckle car, but I did because I wanted to. If he wants to, he can, but logically it's not a good idea.

It's honestly a toss-up between a SRT-8 and a RX-8. Both would need special maintenance and both would rape my wallet yearly from the stupid road tax.
Shame the Chrysler doesn't come with a manual though.

>decide to trigger his insecurity and do a little trolling
>drop in into track mode, launch hard, V8 screaming, blow his doors off, fly through the first curve
>slow down, need to get into left lane for where I'm going
>he ricer flybys, I tuck in behind him in the left lane
>he tries to fly through the second curve like I did in the first
>immediately loses his rear end, pointing straight at a tree, barely saves it
>drives extremely slowly afterwards, I blast by him again
Loving every laugh. Nearly trolled him into wrecking his shitbox. LUVRWD, eh? Welcome to RWD faggot lmaooo

Its unibody not body on frame. I'd imagine the thing would crumple like a tin can in a crash and it would have a bunch of body flex in corners.
If you were going to make a wagon out of it I'd take off the trunk and the rear window and then graft on a station wagon backside that would maintain the unibody frame rigidity; but give you a station wagon rear.

Oh silly me. I thought you were proposing buying a Challenger and turning it into a wagon not buying a wagon and turning it into a Challenger.
That would be easier. Again you don't want to cut the frame; but in this case you could probably achieve the effect pretty well swapping Challenger body panels onto the 300c unibody which would be simpler than trying to rebuild what would likely have to be a custom built wagon rear end for a Challenger.

Or is it that you have no reading comprehension and you didn't realize that I was discussing the concept of splicing two unibody cars together.

Oh, so that makes you even more retarded if you think putting body panels from one LX car onto another LX car is "splicing two unibody cars together"
>>
>>28863525
>>28863534
The Challenger, 300, Charger and Magnum are made on the same platform, like a Nissan S-chassis the front ends of the 4 cars are technically interchangable.
You do have to graft the front ends of the Challenger fenders to the back ends of the 300/Magnum fenders, but that's just some sheet metal work. Everything else is bolt on.

Dude you can't fucking read can you?
Like you're calling me a retard and you can't even figure out what I'm talking about. No, you dumb faggot, I don't think that putting body panels from one unibody car onto another is splicing two unibody cars together.
But I do think that what OP said.....
>Why shouldn't I just buy a SRT-8 300c Touring, lop off the front end and graft a Chally front
Would be splicing two cars together and it would destroy the rigidity of the unibody.
You should have kept your mouth shut. Every time you reply you just show that you're more retarded than I thought you were. Seriously go take some remedial reading lessons. The public school system has failed you.

They all care, anon. This isn't somebody who's driving a 1956 Bel Air and doesn't care it's slow because it's awesome and a piece of history. This is somebody who spent $25k on a 2022 ""sports car"" that's slow as shit.

You can probably do it just by unbolting stuff, it'll be a pain because there's probably plastic shit full of clips you need to disconnect but I don't imagine the quarters are actually welded on anywhere. Which is lucky because if you did have to cut stuff, the glow in the dark MOT niggers would probably start complaining and make the process unbearbly gay and retarded. I don't know the particular rules up there but my gut tells me it would at least be in the same league of gayness that we get here down under. You will need to make sure you get the front quarter panels off the Challenger as well as the bumper and shit. FWIW I've actually thought about doing this as well but in my case I was thinking about putting something like >>28863673 on it. Maybe one day, IDK.
