Post your favorite /out/ patches. Also, how do you display any patches you don't have on a pack? I tried doing a board but I think I need more patches because it feels empty.

I've bought some patches of the UK routes/hills I've done that are still yet to arrive in the post. I'm not going to attach them to my pack's outside because I've got a savotta ruck and like using the attachment points for gear. Maybe I'll sew them into the inside lid so I don't publicly display my autism.

Only “patch” I rep is my heckin frisbee taggerino. Higher numbers can challenge lower numbers and the loser takes the high number

Go to a resale shop and buy a nice framed picture with glass, look at how it's framed and make sure the picture is just a piece of thick paper with a hard cardboard backing, and then you can just take the paper out and replace it with a nice piece of cloth (also obtained from resale shops, look at raw fabrics, curtains, and tablecloths). You can have your collection looking amazing, like you spent hundreds framing it, probably for less than $10.

>Wait til you find out how your backpack is held together.
Nah bro, anon's $1000 backpack is welded together.
None of those god damned stitches anywhere, they let water in.
>>2853249
>What idiot really uses this shit?
If you think your backpack is going to flood due to a few stitches for a patch.
1- do like tent manufacturers do: waterproof seam tape.
or
2- glue it

sorry but runes are gay. the entirety of muh viking larp and i'm le esoteric nazi is fucking gay and no, living in norway/sweden or nordicwhateverfuck doesn't excuse you.
just because some austrian in the 1900s made some bullshit religion about worshipping marvel heroes before marvel heroes even existed and then some other austrian dude 40 years later slapped it on his "ubermensch" troops doesn't mean the rune has any "esoteric" meaning. it is quite literally just letter "z". imagine slapping "z" on your jacket... oh wait...
>b-but vikings painted it on their shields
nobody knows because the only authentic historical artefacts are fucking rotten planks of wood and everyone who says otherwise is just regurgitating some myth made by viking/nazi larpers.
at least use symbols that HAVE an actual meaning

not to mention that most nordic countries are rather liberal, having better social security than many other countries and that vikings were a really small part of the population. these people where mostly living as farmers and fishers and often times under very harsh circumstances, due to the cold winters. when they nazis tried to trace back aryianism to iceland during ww2, the icelandic mayor told them to fuck off, there are no nazis there.

>holy shit bro! the heckin icelandic mayorarinos totally told the nazis to fuck off?!?? BASED!!! that sure showed those guys!
you pathetic faggots are even more cringe than nazi larpers. neck yourself, and take the faggot runecoon with you

If I'm committed to a patch, the first thing I do is remove the velcro/iron-on backing and rip out the interfacing fabric, always makes for a very supple and flexible patch that hugs tight to the fabric when you sew it on. It's like how the Bundeswehr does their flag patches thin and sewn compared to most other countries.

heh you are most welcome. it;s funny how these things catch on. I think the accidental magic in it is the wetness, fluff, and mass of the shits. I don't know how I managed to get them just right but in retrospect they're captivating
