This guy made a bicycle trailer, the walls are made out of pink panther foam (xps), so apparently light weight. I was thinking of building one, but in the shape of a box (with a slide out inner box for my legs).

What if one is off and has a lot of time to just bike a bit, then rest and chill a bits somewhere. And repeat? Is 30 kg dragging behind you on 2 wheels really that hard? Genuine question, cause i have no idea myself

The real question is "for what purpose?"
Cruising from tent to tent at Burning Man?
Youll probably get laid in it.
Cruising down the boardwalk in Mission Beach?
If it doesnt get stolen by the homeless youll probably get harassed by the cops for suspicion of dealing drugs.
For camping?
It will crumble from jarring impacts on rough terrain.
For a cross-country road trip?
All larping aside it would get demolished from wind on the open road.

A front box is good
Electric + camping
Easy as that

I would love to share ideas, because this is not something that has a market. The ideal market is a hobo and a proper camper build would cost a few grand. It doesn't line up. This is reserved for custom passion projects.

Why? The "government" just takes money from citizens. Like me. Like you. Do you actually think there's some mysterious government out there paying for shit out of their own pocket? Its your fucking pocket, retard. Your fucking money. My fucking money. Everyone's money EXCEPT these worthless parasites. Why is that funny to you? You're paying for it, dipshit. What do you think taxes are? How fucking dumb are you?

Anon they just print it out of thin air you are paying taxes for fun every single dollar that exists is a fake 1/10th of a real dollar
Give the government endless IOUs, it changes nothing
The economy is a black box, you child, just don't fucking look inside and it keeps working
the downstream slave labor that you reference has nothing to do with money, they could assign any random numbers to this and it would work

>thread starts talking about money and not advice on the topic
not surprised
op (or anyone else), im unironically very possibly going to become homeless in the coming months and this seems like a good way to "get out" of the major consequences of it
i dont have a bike but i know how to ride one. i dont have camping gear (that is suitable at least) but have gone camping. any advice?

Weight isn't that much of an issue, unless you gotta go fast. The problem is drag. Good luck trying to pull that on a windy day. If you want to build something similar, you'd better go for a foldable design that is as flat as possible when folded down.

Hmm right idea wrong way of going about it. Seriously just get a backpack and pack a tent or whatever. As for the bike what you could do is get a bunch of baskets or things that allow you to carry as much weight as possible. And if you get an electric bike that you can still peddle manually you could use that if the weight is too much or if tired. This is what the Mexicans in my area do.

>made from pink panther foam
where does he store his food, and does he eat or cook in there or ever spill food / scraps inside there?
A raccoon / bear / skunk / squirrel will be through that foam in less than a minute

I'm still team pannier personally. Mostly for mobility, one can fit easily in an elevator or, with relative ease, carry their fully loaded bike up a flight of stairs, you can also fly with it if you want to chase weather. Some come with dishpits which would be nice, but you'd need hook ups which are pricier at campgrounds and hard to find in public.
If you could swing a couple mega batteries, a star link and perhaps a robust dynamo or solar pannels so you could say perform 40 hours programming before a recharge i could see it making sense
