I found a driveway that had a really good view and I wanted a picture, but I figured I didn't want to get too far into their property cuz it was private, so I tried to park close to the main road - sort of on a slope and there were wet leaves covered with snow and I got out of my car without steadying my feet on a slope, tripped and fell backwards.

Almost always. The amount of backpackers here where they find their car because they tried to drive a dacia into the bush in a flood and then wander off is something. I got bogged on a colossal station and knew nobody would be back for a week so hiked out about 11ks in summer but I knew where I was going and knew there was water.

>the guide returned to pick her up but she was nowhere to be found
>bunch of other tourists spotted her under a cliff, leg broken but alive
>some called for help, some attempted to call out to her via a drone with pen and paper
>she was responsive and seemed to acknowledge that rescuers are coming so it was assumed that things are gonna be ok
>weather worsens, rescue team delayed
>for whatever fucking reason the dumb slut moved and fell down another hundreds of meter as a result
>the rescue team arrived but at this point the rope they carried wasn't long enough to reach her new spot
>they can no longer contact her via drone because now she's unresponsive
