This is a thread for enjoying a pipe while doing outdoor activities. If you ask why this belongs on /out/, you've never spent an evening by the campfire with a pipe or bowl or blunt or spliff or joint or vape or edible or dab or oil, silently enjoying the nature around you, and you're missing out.
>How to get started
Purchase a cheap glass pipe (or a simple wooden chillum) and a bag of some quality outdoor or mid-grade weed from a dispensary
or your usual guy. You will need a lighter and something to clear the bowl witha paperclip works well if you don't have a proper tool.
Pack the bowl loosely, enough for airflow but enough to stay lit. Light the corner of the bowl and inhale slow. Smoke
slower than you think you need to, the flower tastes best when it isn't cherried too hot. Tamp and corner or re-light as needed. If you still
have trouble, try different methods on YouTube until you find one that works for you. Or you can just roll it or whatever.

Originally, the government found that weed smokers, following a careful study of the statistics (at a time when hemp was a cash crop) were just peaceful people who wanted to grow their own medicine, enjoy jazz and engage in mild tomfoolery. Nowadays, weed is being legalized against while the average American thrashes in the thralls of poverty. Put two and two together. Marijuana is just another good thing that was under attack by the government.

Weed is what got me /out/ again and as a result helped me lose ~115lbs. Kept it off for about a decade now.

Buddy of mine and I decided to do a guerilla grow. Best spot we could find required a mile and a half hike up and down hills there and back. Breaking the soil, bringing in the girls under the cover of moonlight, going out 1-2 time a week (or more which is stupid btw). When we started I had to tell my buddy to wait up and about halfway through the project he had to tell me to wait and that’s when I realized I was really losing it. I also started cutting out fast food. Didn’t eat in the car or buy food at a gas station. And that’s it. Hiking out to grow weed and then not having the stress of buying or needing to buy weed plus eliminating garbage food was all it took.

Thanks. I weighed 303lbs at my max. I was depressed (I still am but I was then too) and figured I had nothing to lose. I did not expect to lose weight at all… I just wanted a reliable source of weed.

Unfortunately, if I did I’d have to spend hours looking for it. I just combed through a thousand pics and didn’t see any. It was 2016 and I was paranoid as fuck about taking pics. A friend of mine described it as “this could be on the cover of high times 1987” which I took as a compliment. It tasted awful and despite trying for all girls was seedy as fuck. But it did the job! I smoked on that weed until the end of 2017 and some of the seeds are still growing in my father in law’s closet grow. Here’s one of his girls out getting sun. Ten years later and the project still lives on and I’m still not a fat ass.

Last summer I did two 3 day packrafting and wild camping trips in central France.
The best part was probably smoking hash, resting on my boat anchored under a big tree with branches falling into the water, observing some storks doing their stuff near me without noticing.
Another memory from my teenage years :
>20+ friends group rent canoes for the most beautiful and crowded part of the Ardeche canyon.
>most are stoners, the others drink
>gay friend come with a floatable unicorn
>I find some hash in the riverbank in the middle of a fucking canyon
>pass by the "templar nudist beach" where a naked wierdo is showing his dick to every paddler, and they are many
>there is even some rapid with firemen and sometime rural police looking from above.
>the strong paddlers in our group unite to sink the weak ones
>possessors of beers bottles or joints have temporary immunity
>we finally arrive at the camping
>set camp, smoke and drink avoiding the security guy
>sunset
>a bunch of wild boars come to raid the campers
>they are used to do it
>some campers are running to flee, some others are running after the wild boars
>5 min of chaos until wild boars leaves
>campers get back to booze, weed and barbecue if not eaten by boars
>leave the day after, finish the canoe part and return home.

Growing as a noob is really fun. It's not a lot, but it's good stuff. Now that it's warm, I can walk outside high again.
