Retard here. What's the best or cleanest way of adhering separate pieces of cardboard/paper/laminated paper when making a card? All I can come up with is crude kindergarten-level stuff like taping the edges and using gluesticks and etc.

Gluestick either side and put a book on top to ensure good contact while it dries. If it is a smooth glossy surface that might not work. I think "tacky glue" is one step up from Elmer's kid glue. These wetter glues can cause rough porous paper to deform, so glue stick is better. Tacky glue might work for more durable stuff. Still want to book to ensure good contact and prevent warping from moisture. Also wrap tape into loop to make one sided tape double sided tape.
