That's pretty good, make sure you have a small knife and can opener, the more canned food the better but overall you have a well balanced kit fren, Remember to save cans and bottles to refill with water when empty

The problem with prepping is that it never ends
And just about the time you are satisfied with your stash, your realize how foolish you are to have only one stash
So then you scout out another location for another stash maybe a private storage rental unit but while you are filling that one more ideas come so now you have 2 stashes you are filling but because you watched so many prepper you tube videos they keep recommending more you tube videos when you suddenly discover your stash is obsolete and they have much better stuff now and on and on

Actually it's not bad if you ration, 1 can food or 1 half cup rice per day, if stationary that's all you would need for the first 2 weeks, after that you'd want to have more calories, Remember he has lentils there, that's big protein in little package

>You could replace all that heavy water with a life straw. They're cheap and effective, get liquid from any source and can filter a LOT of water.
>Take all the stuff out of your first aid kit and keep it in one pocket of your backpack. It should travel well if you didn't get the worlds shittiest FAK.
>How are you going to open those cans without a pull tab?
>If you do keep those cans, make sure you can boil shit in them so metals don't leech into your food while cooking.
>No knife? Dumb. Small, light, sharp, easy to sharpen, pick a metal that won't corrode like H steel.

filthy casual, you have to live the end time; clinging to hedonistic pleasures from the past will just prevent you from becoming the monster you need to be in order to survive. The sooner you live hard, the better shot you have. Same principle applies to neets and handouts, but since we aren't in the end time, we must remain /cozy/, for those to come after, who will never experience such pitiful joy.

You cant do that with lentils or beans. They contain a toxin that needs to be thoroughly cooked to be neutralized. If you eat uncooked lentils, no matter how long they sat in cold water, you are going to have a bad time

Sugar and yeast to make alcohol is going to be the best possible stuff a prepper can have, most people will want to get fucked up and will pay good money for it or barter stuff. In a real total collapse situation all you need is guns and alcohol. What you cant barter for you can persuade for

m8 I have 3 months normal food supply and about 6 months on reduced consumption. I have 5 acres of gardens to plant things in although frankly i havent planted anything already so... I'll probably just catch one or 2 deer and tie them up here and eat them when the time comes.

Unironically stockpile cartons of cigarettes, bottles of liquor, painkillers and other commonly used medicines. If shit hits the fan other people aren't going to just disappear and you'll be able to barter from a better position for food and water with luxury nonessentials that people who stocked up on toilet paper and rice never thought of buying. IIRC people who lived through the Yugoslav wars said that cigarettes and alcohol were the best supplies in terms of bartering once the economy collapsed. Similarly if you want to start a victory garden consider growing poppies and tobacco for the same reason.

No the problem with prepping is humans are social creatures so someone or rather some group will take it from you if you ever really need it.
Like nobody is just going to ignore your stash in some retail storage place. What you need is a hidden cache and the problem with that is hiding it, stocking it and rotating out of it.

A map and a bug out plan (where ya gonna go whatcha gonna do?) Start planning now. If you really want to know what you're missing take at least 3-4 days out in the wild with only your current prep setup (do it a few times), you'll figure out what you're missing. Also helps conditioning your body and mind, gets you more accustomed to a "I'm going to have to live off of bare necessities for a while" scenario. Imagine going from at least 3 meals a day with a comfy lifestyle to barely one meal a day while your mind is trying to cope with the situation and stress around you. Most people will crack before their supplies run out.

All you need is a tent, tarp, sleeping bag, some knives, a gun, some ammo, and some wool clothing.
If shit hits the fan you want to be on the move semi-regularly. Rust and Tarkov are a great example of what it'll be like, except there will be a lot more rape.
