1 - russia and china may not be reliable "allies", but the US is also losing credibility as a reliable ally by not being able to defend the gulf states targeted because of hosting US bases and being US aligned, and for the US allies are more important, iran was actually never truly allied with russia and china, russia doesn't have any defensive agreements with anyone outside belarus and china doesn't have any defensive agreements with anyone outside pakistan and north korea

2 - if iran managed to destroy enough of the oil production pipeline of the gulf states their own currency won't be the only currency that ends up destroyed and/or devalued

3 - the military stockpiles of the US will be depleted in case of actual useful wars against actual rivals like china
