I think most of it stems from the fact that they hyped it up for a few weeks and then debuted him on a PPV like he was some gigantic star and not some comedy jobber. If he had just shown up on NXT I don't think you'd be seeing as much hate.

no. chicago has an entitled fanbase like philly. they invented some unrealistic expectation. aew fans wouldn't go to a wwe show just to boo. the online stuff might be aew trannies trying to bandwagon, but chicago rejected aew years ago.
