>Comes out
>No reaction at all
That wasn't only because he's an unknown wrestler, plenty of unknown wrestlers debuted and generated reactions decades again. This faggot looks like a joke, like one of the fans watching the show. No mass, no presence.

Everyone is saying that

It's like hiring GayEW comedy jobbers isn't a bad idea at all
>>
>>19990606
I thought Paul was stupid for debuting an unknown guy like this but after seeing how everyone can't stop talking about him, maybe Paul did the right thing and I shouldn't have doubted him.
>>
>>19990618
Ah yes the Tony Khan method of doing dimeless reddit cringe and hoping people online would shit on it hard enough to create a "buzz".
>>
>>19990606
why didn't they have him wrestle? what the fuck was that segment supposed to be?
>>
>>19990636
Because he legitimately can’t wrestle lol. I don’t even understand how he got popular in the first place. I use reddit. He wasn’t that popular on reddit and as soon as he got to AEW people were like “what the fuck is this?”

Is he a twitter thing? Was he using bots to generate buzz?
>>
>>19990643
you keep saying this but he was literally a top merch seller for like 4 years straight in AEW so you can't just pretend no one ever liked him or knew who he was.
>>
>>19990662
I’ve never seen a Danhausen shirt in public or at an AEW or WWE show. And I’ve never seen that “merch mover” statement proven, it just gets repeated by Danhausen fans. I’m convinced he just buys his own merch to juice his numbers.
>>
>>19990643
You have to go back
>>
>>19990669
>it's just made up because I don't like him and I don't want it to be real
I've seen tons of danhausen shirts at AEW shows. Just because reality doesn't align with your personal opinion doesn't mean you can just pretend it's not real
>>
>>19990606
Watch him move merch and become the new Jay Uso
>>
>>19990679
That's the only reason why he's been treated so specially
>>
>>19990606
His debut was so bafflingly retarded, out-of-touch, and poorly done that it came around and became kino.

the universal podcast burying of this faggot is bringing me great joy
>>
>>19990606
That’s the point pal. It’s ok that you don’t get it right now. Give him a chance; he hasn’t even done anything yet. E-drones are always so obsessed with big sweaty man meat.

Fucker should have cursed Seth at the end of Chamber match to make some impact.

We don't need reddit wrestlers in the big leagues, should have stayed in the tranny fed

There's already a Dark Side of the Ring being worked on about the Danhausen disaster

I wonder what were they thinking debuting the guy in the middle of a PPV, he's a comedy jobber who barely wrestles, he should be on NXT alongside the rest of the AEW guys who got hired because they're friends with Cody
>>
Doesn’t he know Conan O’Brien? Yeah, this is going to be fun
>>
>>19990606
Comedic weirdo with a silly gimmick isn’t new. Kit Wilson and R-Truth are around. He’ll just join that tier of nonsense, which is fine, whatever. Wrestling is a carnival variety show, and all that…

I think I’m just surprised that:

1) WWE looked at the roster and thought they needed a comedy jobber with a silly gimmick. Like, is there really a gaping hole in THAT area that needs filling?

2) That they debuted him with the fucking box trope, which most new fans have no idea is a trope. So fans got worked up that something important would be coming out of it, only to be let down by a clown show. It felt like punking the audience, which is a great Danhausen gag, but clearly didn’t go over well in the United Center.

In short, it’ll be fine and no one will care next week. But I can’t imagine this act will have staying power unless Danhausen REALLY wins everyone over.

But he’s got one chance, lol. Better not blow it.

And yet WWE & E-drones salivate over literal trannies (Bad Bunny) being on their shows.
>>
>>19990606
In all fairness, he got a great reaction at the sold out United Center for the Forbidden Door pre-show. If any market was going to pop for Dirty Dan the Bootlegging Man, it's Chicago. Honestly, I could see the boos being because he didn't interact with anyone or cut a promo but came out to do a dance to a pre-recorded song and then leave.

Reminder that he actually didn’t get booed but the crowd was actually reacting to a fan shown on the screens wearing an anti law enforcement shirt

I remember thinking the Survivor Series Egg was going to be Ted DiBiase's mystery partner. Learning that was the plan made my inner child feel vindicated. Still, could you imagine if Undertaker came out of a giant egg? I have a feeling "a giant zombie mortician comes out of a turkey egg, does some space age offense, and drops Koko B Ware on his head" is undeniably awesome even with the silliness. But man, how Vince is that original logic? "The egg you've seen for weeks was actually an eeeeevil egg." Doink logic.

shades of the ECW zombie

Danhausen is like a cartoon comedic side character that gets added late in a series but tonally doesn't match the product and takes the limelight from the established stars while adding nothing.
>>
There is a rumor going around right now that his first shirt has outsold every single piece of Rey Mysterio and Stone Cold merchandise combined… holy. shit.
>>
>>19990606
Why debut him at a PPV after such a big tease though? Would have been fine if he showed up at the rumble or NXT
>>
Who the fuck is wearing this in public?

>5 million views in 2 days

>BAAAH-BUT SMARKS SAY HE IS BAD NOW!!!

Fuck off with all your spamming AEWTIST CRIPPLE.
>>
>>19994180
Supposedly he was supposed to debut months ago but Tony added time onto his contract. They debuted him at Elimination Chamber because Chicago's a big smark crowd, so they assumed he'd getter a bigger reaction there as opposed to like Corpus Cristi, TX or whatever.

KILLSHOT
>>
>>19990643
He sucks at wrestling but he's a personality. His debut shirt became the top seller for WWE. Even when he was in the dog house with AEW, he moved merch at the booth.

He's old, he's fragile, he's awkward, but people dig his silly voice and kooky words. Yeah, he's a cult wrestler but his cult shows up for him.
>>
>>19994366
thank you for telling us all about WWE's internal plans and feelings, hopefully you will give us scoops more often. Oh wait, you don't have scoops, you're just some faggot making up headcanon after the fact.
>>
The YouTube video of his segment tonight has a lot of views and likes already. People in the comments all seem to like him. I was at EC and I thought this guy was dead in the water after hearing the boos. Not sure after tonight. If they handle him correctly, he could be a huge character in WWE and I don't think I would have believed that earlier today.
>>
>>19994211
>YOU. ARE. CURSED! On an evening where the WWE Superstars took unforgettable risks inside the Elimination Chamber, the raucous Chicago crowd is sure not to forget the debut of the very nice, very evil Danhausen! Show that you're eager to see who the unsettling enigma brings bad fortune to next by grabbing this Cursed! T-Shirt. The stylized Superstar graphics printed across the front and back make it clear that anyone who crosses Danhausen is bound to get a wide-eyed curse for their troubles.
kinda based
>>
>>19995980
I'm convinced the boos were because he didn't really do anything. Imagine if Chris Jericho's debut wasn't in a duelling promo with the Rock but he just came out and basically waved to the crowd and left. People would have booed that in 1999 like "That's it?!"
>>
>>19993767
This, exactly
>>
>>19995987
Dang. It's already a top selling shirt. It would be so funny to see Danhausen blow up in popularity after leaving AEW.
>>
>>19991366
He hadnt wrestled on AEW for 2 and a half years at that point and still was in the top 15.
>>
>>19990606
You are a fucking retard. Why would a comedy character need to be fucken ripped bro? Are you stupid?
>>
>>19994211
Danhausen fans.
>>
>>19996028
OP's just an AEWtist seething about Dimeshausen getting over in WWE. Don't take him seriously.
>>
>>19996014
Nah, it seemed like people knew who he was and already didn't like him. Maybe with WWE working their magic they can make him into a big deal.
>>
>>19990669
I go to every wrestling shows I can in Australia and I’ve seen more OSW shirts than Danhausen ones. I think maybe the gimmick doesn’t make sense over here.
>>
>>19996027
Wow. I had no idea he was that popular. No wonder WWE scooped him up.
>>
>>19996042
He got a pop when he first came out of the box and he got a pop when he first appeared on screen tonight.
